Arthur Crowe - Skater Girls

this tag tutorial was made using artwork by Arthur Crowe
you need to purchase his tubes HERE Tube i used is called Cool Girl
Template 448 - by Divine Intentions HERE
ptu scrap kit used was Aracnid by Designs by Sarah HERE

as an alternative you could use gradients instead of papers
a good free resource for that is Nansons site HERE
 ........................................................................
open up Template number 448
 
copy and paste print 1 (purple splats) 
go to Layers - duplicate 
 then go to Image - mirror
send both to the bottom layer

copy and paste print3 (pink splats)
slide to the bottom but above the purple splats layers

click on the top thin rectangle layer
go to Layers - merge down  (twice)
 
go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the the rectangles with a paper from the kit or a gradient  of choice
as a new layer
then go to selections none
go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the rounded rectangle with the purple paper from the kit
 or a purple gradient of choice as a new layer
go to selections none

open up ribbon 1 crop from the kit
cut in half from the left side
then copy and paste as a new layer
add a drop shadow and duplicate twice arrange to liking

 
click on the circle layer to make this layer active
 go to selections - selections all - selections float
add close up tube of choice as a new layer
 
 then add purple paper as a new layer or gradient of choice
go to selections - invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess
 then change the blend mode to screen
by going to Layers - Properties - and change the blend mode from normal to screen

make the frame back layer the active layer then  
go to selections - selections all - selections float
add close up tube of choice as a new layer
and line up the tube with the tube in the circle

then add black paper or gradient of choice
go to selections - invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess
 then change the blend mode to screen

change the hue and saturation of cloce up tube on the frame back layer
move both sliders to 'zero'

add the tube again to frame back 2 and 3, 
I used the bit of the tube from the skateboard she is holding, 
and arranged the cool girl bit to my liking.
 
next the small thin rectangles 
go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill both thin rectangles with the pink paper with stitches (or gradient of choice) as a new layer
go to selections invert and delete the excess
 go to selections none
 
move both these layers to the top 

next add button resize by 40% using smartsize 
add a drop shadow and the duplicate

add flower1 resize by 40% add a drop shadow

add string3 resize by 40% add a drop shadow
 
add your name and artist copyright

Arthur Crowe - Sexified

Template 267 - by Divine Intentions HERE
weescotslass mask 80 from HERE
gradients from nansons site HERE
I used  Flamingo, Ruby and Sea
....................................................

open up Template number 267

go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the oval with the flamingo gradient as a new layer
go to selections none

then floodfill a new layer and apply mask 80 from weescotslass
go to Layers - Load/save mask - load mask from disk
choose mask 80 and click load button
go to Layers - merge group

go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the rectangle with the Ruby gradient as a new layer
go to selections none


go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill both thin rectangles with the Sea gradient as a new layer
go to selections none
 
go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the frame background layer with the Ruby gradient as a new layer
go to selections none
change the blend properties from normal to hard light
by going to Layers - properties - change from normal to hard light

 copy and paste paper5 as a new layer
change the blend mode to screen
 by going to Layers - properties - change from normal to screen

 go to selections - selections all - selections float -
floodfill the large rectangle layer with the Ruby gradient as a new layer
go to selections none
 
make the sexified text  layer the active layer
go to Effects - Texture effects- Blinds
and use the following settongs

then go to selections - selections all - selections float -
add tube and arrange to liking over the text
 go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess
go to selections none

tube layer - change the blend mode properties to screen  

add tube of choice to the main frame, trim as necassary
add your name and copyright and save your tag

Arthur Crowe - Steampunk Revolution

you need to purchase his tubes HERE Tube i used is called hot steampunk

scraps used is AC-HotSteampunk-Kit from the same site
....................................................

open up a new canvas 650 by 250
floodfill with a colour of choice, I used a deep purple from her hair colour
 html colour number #2c2239

copy and paste paper5 as a new layer
change the blend mode to screen
 by going to Layers - properties - change from normal to screen

copy and paste tube of choice, i used the close up version 
of the steampunk tube.place to the right side
 then duplicate the tube, and resize by 60% 
then go to Image - Mirror and place it to the left side.
change the blend mode of both tubes to SCREEN
by going to Layers - properties - change from normal to screen

 then copy and paste element16 from the kit, resize by 60%
and change the blend mode to soft light
on a new layer, with your selection tool draw out a thin rectangle
floodfill with white
then change the blend mode to soft light
then go to Effects - Texture effects - Blinds
using these settings

this will be what your steampunk revolution text is going to rest on

then duplicate this layer and place on at the top of the tag and one at the bottom

then with your font - Carnivalee Freakshow set to size 26 font size 26
write out the text Steampunk Revolution repeat the length of the tag
add a drop shadow

then duplicate and position one at the top of the tag and one along the bottom

 for the outside borde, floodfill with colour of your choice,
then go to  Selections - Modify by 4

go to Selections Invert
hit the delete key to remove the excess

next add noise by going to
Adjust - Add/Remove Noise
using these settings

add artist copyright and your name
I used the same font for my name, with a gold gradient
adding  drop shadow

Arthur Crowe - Crazy Beautiful

you need to purchase his tubes HERE Tube i used is called Crazy
Template 40 by Scapity scrap HERE
scraps used Emo by Candystreats (Me)
available from Twilight scraps or DSI or Digital Chaos

my Extras are available from my Fotki HERE 
....................................................

OPEN UP THE TEMPLATE
 delete any watermark layers

  click inside the top rectangle on the right side
then copy and paste a close up version of the tube 
go to selections invert
hit the delete key to remove the excess

go to selections none
repeat this process for each of the 3 rectangles on the right side

then start by adding paper 10 to the smaller circle layer.
do this by clicking inside the smaller circle layer with the magic wand tool
go to selections modify expand by 1
then open up paper 10 resize it by 70%
then copy and paste paper10 as a new layer
go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess

go to selections none

repeat for each layer of the template
add paper3 to square layer

paper10 resize 70% fill the big rectangle 


 click inside the big rectangle layer with the magic wand tool
go to selections modify expand by 1
then open upclose up tube resize by 65% using smartsize
then copy and paste tube as a new layer
go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess


adjust the hue and saturation
by going to Adjust - Hue and saturation - colourise
and slide both sliders down to zero

then go to Effects Plugins - Xero -Radiance
using these settings

add paper17 to the big circle resize paper by 70%
add paper as a new layer

click inside the big circle layer with the magic wand tool
go to selections modify expand by 1
then open up paper17 from the kit resize by 70% using smartsize
then copy and paste paper as a new layer
go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess


add elements of choice from the kit there is plenty to choose from
 I used bg1 and send this to the bottom layer
I also used corner 2 resized by 60% using smartsize
ele3 (the arrows) resized by 60%

and ele1 and ele2 resized by 40%


for my name I used Lamplighter Script  font set to size 100
background black foreground white, stroke 2

add artist copyright. and save your tag using a unique name.

PMTws-Adoraskull tutorial plus Extras

Weescotslass Mask 219 HERE
add mask to your mask folder
Extras are available from my Fotki HERE

open up frame1 - resize by 70% using smartsize
make certain that all layers box is NOT checked

 then copy and paste paper9 from the kit, 
go to layers -arrange- send to bottom

then apply mask  by going to
 then apply WSL Mask 219
by going to Layers - load/save mask from disk 
choose the correct mask and click load or apply.
depending on your version of PSP.

go to Layers - Merge - Merge group 

  if using the same tube as I did,
Resize by 70% using smartsize

with your magic wand tool click inside the frame and add tube as a new layer
go to selections invert - and hit the delete key to remove any excess from around the frame

 selections none

then add from the kit :
splatter1 resize by 80% then duplicate  arrange to liking
 then send to bottom layer
by going to Layers - arrange - send to bottom

ribbon3 resize by 70%

stitches1 resize by 80%

3 buttons resize by 20%

adoraskull word art2 resize 70%

arrange each to liking and add a drop shadow to each
dont forget a drop shadow on the frame


add your copyright and your name

for Sarah's name I used a font called Mathilde
 font size 120 background black, foreground pink - stroke 1

save your tag with a unique name and you are done.

Nothing But Trouble tutorial

Scraps used my Shades of Grey Freebie available on my Scraps blog HERE
Template 3 byYvette from the creative misfits blog -HERE
tube is by Arthur Crowe called Hot Body you must purchase his tubes to use them HERE
it comes with layers which has different colour Vests etc... and close ups! very cool!
......................................................................
first open up the template
delete the watermark layer you dont need to keep that there...

and then open up a paper of choice from my freebie (Shades of Grey) I used paper3

make the rectangle layer of the template the active layer simply by clicking on that layer in the layer pallette
go to Selections - select all - select float.

copy and paste the paper as a new layer
go to selections invert
and hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the excess.
go to Selections none

repeat those steps for all the layers of the template,
alternating with colours of your choosing to match the tube you use
if using my kit resize papers by 80% 
remember to deselect your selections by going to Selections None

*make the rectangle the active layer again and go to selections - float
copy and paste as a new layer the close up tube
selections invert and then hit the delete key to remove the excess

selections none*

*repeat steps for the half body tube
slide this layer beneath the larger tube

make the bottom tube layer greyscale by going to Adjust - Hue- saturation
and slide both sliders to Zero.

(the next step is optional but Im just trying to let you know all my steps)

 use the Xero Radiance plugin on these settings

add star  from the kit resize by 70% add a drop shadow
I used a filer plug in for alot of my shadows...
go to Effects- Plugins - AlienSkin-EyeCandy 5 Impact
and use the following settings...

ele14 resize 80% add shadow

add ele4 resize 80% send to bottom layer

ele22 resize 80% send to bottom layer

I deleted the actual word art layers on the template and typed my own...
do this by......write out the text 'nothing but'
with a font called Two Turtle Doves set to size 72
with background glitter fill5 from the kit set to 50%
foreground set to null.

then convert to raster layer....

then select all - float modify - expand by 2

add a new layer then floodfill with white

selections none

slide the white layer beneath the glitter layer then go to Layers- merge down

do the same for the word Trouble

selections none

add artist copyright
add your name
 and save your tag with a unique name as a png.

Arthur Crowe - Happy New Year

scraps used my New Years Freebie available on my Scraps blog HERE
I recoloured some of the elements gold, to match the tube..I will show you how.

tube is by Arthur Crowe called Happy Sexy New Years you must purchase his tubes to use them HERE
it comes with layers . and close ups for you to customise

I used 2 masks, download Vix_Masks 141-180 pack by VixPSP HERE 
download mask pack 40-50 by Vabs HERE
add masks to your mask folder..
......................................................................
open up a canvas roughly 600x600 pixels

open up paper1 (the red one) from my new years kit 
copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas
then apply Vix mask number 
by going to Layers -  Load/save mask to disk
select mask number176

click ok or load depending on your version of PSP
then go to layers- merge - merge group

open up glitter rays from the kit
recolour it by going to adjust  - hue and saturation -Colorize
 settings are as follows

duplicate this layer then go to Images -  mirror
then go to Layers- merge down

next add the clock frame from the kit as a new layer

 recolour this gold by going to adjust -hue and saturation - colourize settings are as before

then using your erasor tool set to size 250 hardness around 70

and erase the glitter rays from the layer below from inside the frame area

 open up paper4 (gold) from my new years kit 
copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas
then apply Vabs mask number 
by going to Layers -  Load/save mask to disk
select mask number 43

click ok or load depending on your version of PSP
then go to layers- merge - merge group
open up close up tube resize by 80% using smartsize
remove the excess that overhangs the clock frame

change blend mode of the tube to screen
by going to Layers- Properties and change the blend mode from normal to Screen

duplicate this tube layer

open up full length resize by 70%


open up word art1 recolour it by going to adjust- hue and saturation - colorize settings are as before

copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas
then duplicate 3 or 4 times to fill the background the length of the tube

then merge down till all word art is on one layer

change the blend mode to multiply,
 then slide the word art layer between the 2 closeup tube layers

open up paper1 (red) and use this as your pattern fill set at 50% for the background fill for your text
FOREGROUND SET TO NULL

I used the font Lamplighter Script set to 72

type out the text - Happy New Year

Add a drop shadow

add artist's copyright

save your tag as a png and you are done

Arthur Crowe - Baby Reindeer tut

Tube is called Baby reindeer comes with many layer options to choose from
 BigMask by Vix from her blog HERE
set bigmasks2
 .......................................................
open up a new canvas 600 x 600 pixels

open up one of the papers from either kit
I used paper2 from Winter Wonderland
copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

then apply Vix big mask vix big masks2 no 16

and go to layers- merge - merge group
then merge group 
and adjust hue and saturation to zero

add the red glitter resize by 25% duplicate and arrange to suit

add sparkles1 from WinterWonderland and duplicate and arrange to suit

add glitter circle

add the large version of the tube
adjust hue and saturation to zero

add frame then click inside and 

go to selections - modify - expand by 3 
then selections invert and hit delete key on keyboard to remove excess

go to selections none

on tube layer go to effects - plugins - xero -radiance
with following settings

then add tube called baby reindeer close up, 

close off layers you d not want by clicking on the eye in the layers pallette, 
copy merged and paste as a new layer on to your canvas

then resize using smartsize by 80%

add drop shadow

add element1  fromTis the season resize by 80% then resize right by 10%
add shadow

add snowflake element from Tis the Season resize by 30 -40% add shadow
add curly ribbon resize by 70%

add elements 3 from Tis the season add shadow


add your name and copyright 
save your tag

Sarcasm Arthur Crowe PSP tutorial

scraps used  a PTU kit  by me called CSI from Twilight Scraps HERE
or Dreamscape Imaging HERE

tube is by Arthur Crowe from you must purchase his tubes HERE
masks are by VixPSP from the big masks 2 collection on her blog
  mask number 019 from HERE

......................................................................
OPEN UP A NEW CANVAS 650X650


open up the blue paper from the kit called CSIblue09
 and directly to the paper apply a the no 19 vixpsp mask

go to Merge group

then copy and paste as a new layer on to the canvas

open up the frame called shabby polaroid from the kit
and add this as a new layer to your canvas

add a tube/image if using the same one as me resize by 65%

then duplicate the frame and slide one above your tube/image

with the erasor tool set to these settings, erase the top of the top frame so it looks like
her hat is in front of the frame

make the bottom frame the active layer
and click inside with the magic wand tool go to selections modify expand by 3
then copy and paste the same blue paper as before as a new layer

go to selections invert and hit the delete key on the keyboard to remove the excess 
go to selections none
slide this layer beneath the bottom frame layer


copy and paste the ink splats from the kit
and this layer goes just below your bottom frame layer


add the hancuffs2 from the kit and resize using smarrtsize by 70%
 add the long ribboned bow from the kit
add a drop shadow to both..

add the artist copyright

and your text I used 
Champagne & Limousines font size 28 background fill black foreground fill null
convert to raster layer

then go to select all - float expand by 2 then add a new layer and floodfill with white.

slide this layer beneath the black text layer and then go to merge down..
add a drop shadow

do the same for your name ...

Fighter - Arthur Crowe

scraps used  a PTU kit  by me called Blloming Lovely from Twilight Scraps HERE
 but probably almost any red and black kit will do..

tube is by Arthur Crowe from hi Sept calender you must purchase his tubes HERE
masks are by VixPSP - mask numbers 340 and 336 get them HERE

open up the template  I resize my canvas to 670 x 670
only cos i like alot of room to work
first add some nice papers to your layered template..

so for each layer

go to Selections - select all - selections float.
copy and paste the paper as a new layer onto your canvas

go to selections invert then hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the excess

go to Selections none

repeat untill all layers are filled
I used papers block1, block2, block5, paper8 and paper11


add leaves from the kit ..slide beneath the rectangle17
duplicate the leaves layer then go to flip and mirror and arrange to your liking

add the circle frame from the kit and resize by 50%

now add a red paper from the kit and apply mask  336

merge group

then resize by 70% and slide to top left then duplicate and flip and mirror

then add a black paper and apply mask 340 ..and duplicate this one too but leave it as is.


I made the word art myself..


I used fonts American Captain - for the text - THANKS  FIGHTER

Iused Century Gothic font for the text -  'for making me a'

add tube of choice, resize as needed. add a shadow.

see the little frames, you want to change them from white to black

i did this by simply adjusting the brightness and contrast..when the pop up comes up change the brightness to '0'


now add a tube to each little frame... delete the excess and I applied a filter
by going to Effects - Plugins - Xero -Radiance
and used the following settings

font used for my name was Noir-et-Blanc

Under my Umbrella2 -Arthur Crowe

scraps used  a PTU kit  by me called Autumn Colours from Twilight Scraps HERE

tube is by Arthur Crowe called Rain Babe you must purchase his tubes to use them HERE

it comes with layers which has different colour rain macs etc... and close ups! very cool!
Im using the yellow mac with the green hair.

......................................................................

open up a new canvas 500 x 500 pixels
then with the selection tool draw out a rectangle shape on the canvas

floodfill with white
go to selections none

duplicate this layer and rotate right by 5


go to Selections - select all - selections float.

open up the close up tube that comes with this and resize by 65% using smartsize
copy and paste the tube as a new layer onto your canvas
go to selections invert then hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the excess

go to Selections none
.................

add a drop shadow to both white rectangle layers..

if using the same kit that I did then resize the orange leaves by 65% then copy and paste them between the 2 white rectangle layers...
if not use some other leaves that you like...

duplicate the leaves and go to image mirror and then image flip

then repeat so that all 4 sides are covered with leaves

add a flower cluster from the kit, I used the yellow one...resize by 65%

add the green swirl from the kit resize by 65% also.
slide this layer beneath the flower cluster.



the wording I used I made

I used fonts Toonish size 72 and Aint Nothing Fancy size 55.

for the Aint Nothing Fancy font have your background set to black and foreground set to null

then go to selections expand by 2 and add a new layer beneath and floodfill with white.

add shadows of choice

Toonish font  background set to black and foreground set to white stroke 2

add copyright and save your tag...

Under My Umbrella - Arthur Crowe Tutorial

Template 224 by Missy -HERE

it comes with layers which has different colour rain macs etc... and close ups! very cool!

first open up the template

and then open up a purple coloured paper of choice add as a new layer onto your canvas
open up a purple paper of choice and go to the bottom layer of the template, make this your active layer  
go to Selections - select all - select float.

copy and paste paper as a new layer 
and hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the excess.
go to Selections none

repeat those steps for all the layers of the template, alternating with colours of your choosing to match the tube you use
if using my kit resize papers by 60% 
resize ribbon by 60% also
the Purple gem circles resize by 90%
I added a tubes to the frames..using the same method above. 
then added a blue paper from the kit and changed the blend mode to Screen
so you get the blended look.

add your main tube then duplicate it and then make the blue circle behind her the active layer
go to Selections - select all - select float. 
make the dupliacted tube the active layer and hit the delete key to remove the excess
then using your erasor tool remove the excess from the bottom tube
so it lines up nicely with the circle.

then duplicate the white frame and move the duplicate behind the main tube

the original frame rotate right by 10%
the wording I used isnt what came with the template

SUPERNATURAL tutorial

hey everyone, I just made this tag, and I quite like it, 
may have something to do with the fact that I LOVE the Supernatural tv show....
anyhoo I thought I would share how I did it...

open up new canvas 650 pixels by 250
ok so open up the texture in psp and rotate right by 90  
and copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas
then type the word WINCHESTER in the supernatural font

  material pallette background set to white , foreground on null, font size 40
convert to raster layer

arrange to the right side of the tag
then- go to image - duplicate  - image mirror flip

for  his tag i used layer2 for both tubes
so add both tubes to your canvas both on a new layer


next  with your selection tool set to rectangle, draw out

a long rectangle going the entire length of the canvas, 
then floodfill with white, next change the blend mode to hue legacy...

type the word SUPERNATURAL in the supernatural knight font

background fill white, foreground set to null , font size 72

convert to raster layer,  
change the blend mode to soft light
add a new raster layer, then floodfill with a light grey -
go to select all - selections modify

contract by 3 then hit the delete key,
then go to selections none.

you should be left with a frame around the edge
add the artist copyright


then change the blend mode of the word 'supernatual'

back to normal and copy and paste as a new animation

into animation shop

- go to effects -  insert image effect

with these settings - shaky cam

this should give you a 21 frame animation

ok leave it open in animation shop we will come back to it...

go back to psp 
and change the word supernatural back to soft light

 go to  copy merged  and paste into animation shop

still in animation shop go to edit - copy , then edit- paste after current frame

keep repating paste after current frame untill you

have 21 frames...the same number for the text animation...

next make sure the propagate paste button is pressed in, see my screenshot below,

ok now make the text animation you made before your

current canvas then go to edit - select all ,
then go to edit copy  and click on the tag animation 
go to
edit select all and paste INTO current animation,

make sure the text lines up nicely..
if you make a mistake dont worry click undo button


got to View- animation and if happy save as a gif and you are done

if you like the effect of the blended look in the background of the tag below, then simply use the largest tubes and palce them as you like behind the main images,
and go to layer - properties -
and change the blend mode from normal to overlay ;)
