For this tag I am using the fantastic artwork of Keith Garvey

you can purchase tubes from PTE HERE

PTU scraps used were by me, Wild about Red HERE,

UNZIP SUPPLIES

open up cluster frame 2 from the kit

draw out a selection to fill the frame

copy and paste a white paper from the kit

then go to selections invert and hit the delete key on the keyboard to remove the excess

while this area is still selected,

open up the zebra print heart3 from the kit and hit the delete key again to remove the excess

go to selections none
slide this layer underneath the frame layer

add a tube of choice, add a drop shadow

then duplicate it and slide one beneath the frame

make the top tube the active layer, by clicking on it

then use your erasor tool to erase the bottom part of tube,

keep erasing untill all the elements on the frame can be seen

open up the WILD THING word art from the kit,

add shadow and slide this layer beneath the frame layer too...

add another zebra print heart, resize by 50% using smartsize then rotate left by 20%

add a shadow and slide benath the frame layer

add the artist copyright and your name , save your tag :)

open up cluster frame 1 from the kit

draw out a selection to fill the frame

copy and paste a paper from the kit i used paper3

then go to selections invert and hit the delete key on the keyboard to remove the excess

go to selections none

slide this layer beneath the frame layer

add a tube of choice, add a drop shadow

then duplicate it and slide one beneath the frame

make the top tube the active layer, by clicking on it

then use your erasor tool to erase the bottom part of tube,

keep erasing untill all the elements on the frame can be seen

add the artist copyright

go to copy merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation

back to PSP

use your freehand selection tool use these settings

and carefully outline the booby part you want to animate

make sure you follow the natural lines of the body

when you are happy double click to make the selection

then go to Effetcs - Distortion - Punch

and change the settings to 15,
if you wanted a more subtle effect then just change the strength to a lower number

then go to selections none

and copy merged and paste after current frame in Animation shop...

ok because animation shop throws a hissy fit when you try to save anything with a transparent background we are going to add a background colour, light colours work best, so white is pretty safe...

in animation shop go to -Animation - animation properties and change the colour to a light one like white or light pink...something to compliment your tag...

now save your tag as a gif, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial

JJ-BLEND -GLITTER EFFECT

for this blend tutorial you will need:

PSP and animation shop

texture no017, I used a fab FREE one from devinant by ARTPLUSLOVE HERE
check out her gallery its awesome here

font used was Dr Carbfred

For this tut I am using the artwork of Jennifer Janesko you will need to buy a licence to use this artists work at CDO, I bought my tubes long ago from CILM which is now closed.

open canvas 500 x 250 pixels floodfill with a white background

copy and paste the texture as a new layer, and arrange so that the line across the texture goes across the bottom of the canvas

arrange 3 images of the same artist to your liking across the canvas, each on a new layer

then duplicate the texture layer and bring to the top

do this by going to - Layers - Arrange - bring to top

then change the blend mode of the top texture to screen by going to

layers - properties - change the blend mode from normal to screen

click ok

then add a new raster layer floodfill with white

go to selection all - modify - contract by 3 then

hit the delete button on your keyboard to remove the excess...

this should give you a white edge

go to selections - none

then go to adjust - add/remove noise - add noise and

in the pop up menu that appears, make your settings

the same as mine see below...

now is a good time to add your copyright

next, add a new layer and do the same for your name...I used Dr Carbfred font

with the following settings, background white, foreground null

convert to raster layer then duplicate the text
and on the bottom text layer add a drop shadow
i used the following settings

then make the top text layer your active layer simply by clicking on it

then add the same noise settings as before......
you can now save your tag as a jpg.

if you want the glitter effect animated,

go to - copy merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation

go back to PSP
then click undo to remove the noise effect on your name

then add noise again but change the noise setting to 40

go to - copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

go back to PSP
then click undo to remove the noise effect on your name

repeat and change noise to 30
go to - copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

save as a gif and you are done...

SUPERNATURAL tutorial

hey everyone, I just made this tag, and I quite like it,

may have something to do with the fact that I LOVE the Supernatural tv show....

anyhoo I thought I would share how I did it...

so for this tut you will need..

tubes from PTE here

these tubes come with additional close up layers

FREE grunge paper texture by Arghus from Deviantart HERE

supernatural knight font get it free here

......................................................................
open up new canvas 650 pixels by 250

ok so open up the texture in psp and rotate right by 90

and copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

then type the word WINCHESTER in the supernatural font

material pallette background set to white , foreground on null, font size 40
convert to raster layer

arrange to the right side of the tag
then- go to image - duplicate - image mirror flip

for his tag i used layer2 for both tubes

so add both tubes to your canvas both on a new layer

next with your selection tool set to rectangle, draw out

a long rectangle going the entire length of the canvas,

then floodfill with white, next change the blend mode to hue legacy...

type the word SUPERNATURAL in the supernatural knight font

background fill white, foreground set to null , font size 72

convert to raster layer,

change the blend mode to soft light

add a new raster layer, then floodfill with a light grey -

go to select all - selections modify

contract by 3 then hit the delete key,

then go to selections none.

you should be left with a frame around the edge

add the artist copyright

then change the blend mode of the word 'supernatual'

back to normal and copy and paste as a new animation

into animation shop

- go to effects - insert image effect

with these settings - shaky cam

this should give you a 21 frame animation

ok leave it open in animation shop we will come back to it...

go back to psp
and change the word supernatural back to soft light

go to copy merged and paste into animation shop

still in animation shop go to edit - copy , then edit- paste after current frame

keep repating paste after current frame untill you

have 21 frames...the same number for the text animation...

next make sure the propagate paste button is pressed in, see my screenshot below,

ok now make the text animation you made before your

current canvas then go to edit - select all ,

then go to edit copy and click on the tag animation

go to

edit select all and paste INTO current animation,

make sure the text lines up nicely..

if you make a mistake dont worry click undo button

got to View- animation and if happy save as a gif and you are done

*font for my name - Noir-et-Blanc

if you like the effect of the blended look in the background of the tag below, then simply use the largest tubes and palce them as you like behind the main images,

and go to layer - properties -

and change the blend mode from normal to overlay ;)

open up paper 11 from the kit resize by 80%

copy and paste paper as a new layer onto your canvas

apply mask by going to Layers - Load/Save mask from disk

- vix big masks1 - mask 4

Click load
go to layers - merge group

open up open up frame 6 from the kit
dupliacte it

then add the tube and slide tube layer between the 2 frame layers

arrange the tube on the canvas to your liking

make the top frame the active layer and using the erasor tool , these are my settings

erase the top and right parts of the frame so that the tube appears to come out of the frame

go to the bottom frame click inside the frame opening with the magic wand tool

go to selections - expand by 3

then open up paper 9 from the kit and resize by 60% then copy and paste as a new layer

go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess
go to selections none
slide this layer beneath the bottom frame layer
add a drop shadow to the bottom frame
add the element called wildstars1 from the kit and resize by 80% using smartsize

then add a drop shadow arrange to the left and slide below the bottom frame layer

add gems from the kit

add artist copyright and your name with a font of choice

open up open up cluster frame 4 from the kit

choose the selection tool set on rectangle

and make a selection the size of the frame see below for screenshot

then open up paper 11 from the kit resize by 60% using smartsize

then copy and paste as a new layer onto your frame

then go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess

go to selections none

go to layers - arrange - send to bottom

open up a tube of choice,

i used the close up from pics for design called delicious by verymany

resize by 80% using smartsize

copy and paste as a new layer onto the frame

after arranging your tube to your liking over the frame,

remove the excess that sticks over the width of the frame with the selection tool

again set to rectangle

hit the delete key to remove the excess

and go to selections none

next duplicate the tube layer and slide one below the frame layer

now with the erasor tool with the following settings

erase the lower part of the tube so that just her head is poking out from the frame
and you can see the entire bottom of the frame again....
just keep going over the area with this tool untill you are happy.

add a drop shadow of choice to the bottom tube

by going to Effects - 3d effects - drop shadow

i used the following settings

add your copyright and your name and

save your tag using a uniquie file name

hiya everyone, Im loving the new timeline layout on facebook

and after seeing my cover photo I have had a few people ask me how I made it...
and a few ask me to make them one, so I thought i would do a tutorial on it....

open up a new canvas 817 x 323..it needs to be pretty big or it seems to distort...

open paper 13 from my snow is falling kit, or a paper of your choice...
now for neatness make sure the paper join is behind the tube so you do not see the join...

copy and paste the christmas tree corner from my snow is falling kit,

arrange to the top left corner

add a drop shadow

add tube to the right side , add a drop shadow

open up the WA ' happy new year' and select the word HAPPY
with your selection tool set to rectangle, make a selection around the word
then cut and paste it as a new layer onto your canvas - add a shadow
add word art 'christmas' with the cluster overlay

add snow sparklies from my snow is falling kit -
and arrange to the left over the christmas tree corner

duplicate and again move to the left side and arrange to your liking

add your copyright

add some text to personalise it to you..
I used Dr Carbfred font for the one above set to size 48

add swirl2 as a new layer,
add a drop shadow

add red leaves2 resize by 70%
then rotate right 90 degrees - add a shadow

add tag resize by 80%
add a shadow

add white branch add a shadow

add a paper from the kit
go to layers -Arrange - send to bottom
this will move the paper layer to the bottom

with your selection tool set to rectangle -
draw out a selection see below for screenshot

and then go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess

then add tubes of choice, to the frame
and remove the excess each time, slide each of these layers beneath the frame layer

then add a full length tube for the front
and add a shadow

go to selections none

Copy and paste the red paper as a new layer

go to layers - arrange - send to bottom
this will move the paper layer to the bottom

add your copyright and save your tag

open new canvas 600 x 600 with a transparent background
open frame

open up BG1 from the kit -resize by 70% using smartsize

go to - image - mirror

then duplicate this layer and move one to the left and one to the right

so you get a good coverage over the width of the canvas

open up frame 10 from the kit add adrop shadow

add the ribbon cluster overlay -resize by 70% using smartsize

add a drop shadow

add tube of choice

add wordart of choice from kit,

if using the same one i did resize by 80% using smartsize

add a drop shadow

save your tag with a unique name

Masquerade

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Camilla Drakenborg

grab a fab bokeh texture from deviant art HERE

I looked for one that had similar colours as the tube I wanted to use

Open a new canvas 650 x 300

resize texture by 650 width pixels using smartsize as mine was pretty large

copy and paste the texture onto your canvas

copy and paste tube onto the canvas, then change the blend mode by going to Layers - Properties - and change the bend mode from normal screen

lower the opacity to 36%

add another tube i used the same one , resize by 80% using smartsize and arrange to the left side

add a new raster layer

thenusing your selection tool on rectangle and draw out a square then flood fill it with a colour from the tube i used colour code #931558

then go to selection modify - contract by 5

then hit the delete key to remove the excess, so you have a white frame

then selection none

then go to rotate free roate right by 3

then add a drop shadow

then add a new raster layer then floodfill with a colour from the tube i used colour code #931558

floodfill layer the go to select all - then selections - modify - contract by 5 and hot the delete key to delete the excess, so you are left with a border around the edge

then with your pen tool, set to width 5 draw out a straight line horizontally across the canvas convert to raster layer

then with your erase the bit inside the box frame you made

then drag this layer beneath the box frame

add your name i used font windsong set on size 90 pixels all lower case

add your copyright

add a new raster layer

then make a selection with your selection tool set on rectangle at the bottom of your tag, make it to fit where inside the line you drew out across the tag earlier

then floodfill the selection with white and set the blend mode to soft light

move this layer beneath the left tube layer

copy merged and paste into animation shop

back to PSP

move the white rectangle above the line

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

move up again this time you may find that a part shows inside the box frame,

simply erase the part that shows in the frame

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

move up again this time line up the rectangle with the top of the box frame, and again erase anything inside the box frame,

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

move up again this time move the rectangle to the top of the canvas,

you may notice that the soft light rectangle doesnt reach far enough over now,

because its above the box frame, so just make another another selection that matches the one you have and floodfill again with white. as the layer is already set to soft light it it should still be transparent

selections none

and again for neatness erase anything inside the box frame,

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

in animation shop go to select all -

then animation - frame properties - and change the dispaly time to 20

save your tag with a unique name and you are done

HOW TO - Colour pop

For this tut I am using the fantastic FREE stock image from Morgue file HERE

everything is free so no scraps or ptu artists ,

you will not even need any plugins, just a version of PSP, i am using PSP9

Font used was toonish get it free HERE

open up an image of choice, then resize if needed using smart size...

i resized mine so that the width is 500 pixels

now duplicate your image , then greyscale your bottom image

by going to adjust hue and saturation

and set both the sliders to '0'

then click on the top layer to activate this layer

use the Freehand or Lasso tool

on this top layer to get rid of everything you dont want in colour.

settings:
Selection type = Point to Point
way to select)
Feather = 0
Antialias = unchecked
Sample merged = unchecked

see below

to finish off the tag i did the following

add a new raster layer

now click on your selections tool

using these settings, colour background white foreground null,

draw out a rectangle selection, along the entire bottom part of the tag, then set your properties to soft light, do this by

going to Layers - properties, and change the drop down menu from normal to soft light.

then we are going to add a texture to this selection

by going to effects - 3d effects - using the following settings.

add a new raster layer, floodfill with orange,

select all - selections modify - contract by 3

add drop shadow I used the following settings

now add your name, i used the Toonish font on these settings

kerning set to 25 and anti alias set to sharp.

setting the anti alias to sharp gives you a nice clear sharp text...

convert to layer to raster then add the same drop shadow as before.add the © and save as a png or jpg

HOW TO - OPTIMIZING IN ANIMATION SHOP

A few people have asked me how i optimize in animation shop,

as they find when they animate something it often goes blurry or pixelates,

these settings should fix most problems...

SO HERE IS HOW I OPTIMISE...

Go to File - optimization wizard
And a pop up will open I then use the following settings..

click next

then on customise

use these settings

Click ok
Make sure your slider is pushed up to the best quality

Keep clicking NEXT while it optimizes the animation...I believe its 3 times...

Till you get to the end screen

click finish

then go to FILE - SAVE AS rename your animation and your done

Bring me to life - image transition

For this tut I am using a tube by Keith Garvey
you need a licence to use this art. You can purchase tubes from PTE

no supplies or scraps needed, you will make the enitre tag from start to finish apart from the tube.

so you just need PSP and animation shop.

open canvas 500 x 310

floodfill with black
add a tube of choice, i used a garv but you could use any you like...
copy and paste your tube as a new layer onto your canvas to the right hand side where you want it...see my tag for reference....
then Duplicate it, by going to Layers - Duplicate
then go to Image - mirror
you should now have 2 tubes opposite each other
now click on the origianl tube layer on the right and duplicate that one and leave it on top of the other one...DO NOT MOVE IT...
other wise when you go to animate it, you may find it jumps around because you didnt line it up perfectly....

make sure you left tube is selected in the layers palette , we are going to desaturate the colour, (make it greyscale) do this by going to Adjust - hue and saturation - colourise
set both numbers in the pop up box to '0'

do the same for the bottom tube on the right.
so now you have 2 tubes that are grey scale one on each side, but on the right you can only actually 'see' the coloured tube.

ok now we are going to add a border
add a new raster layer and floodfill it with a light grey colour.
then go to selections- slections float - selctions modify - contract
change the number of pixels to 3
and click ok and hit the delete key

now select the magic wand tool and click inside the border you just added, when its selected it will show little marching ants around the selection, no go to Selections Modify - contract by 5...now floodfill with the same grey colour... then Selections Modify- contract by 2 and hit the delete key....
this will add a border without merging all the layers....we dont want to merge because we are going to animate the tag soon...

now add your © information, and your name. for my name i used Ravenscroft font set at the following settings
Background colour Light Grey, foreground colour white
font size 72 Stroke 2 anti alias set to sharp.

then in the same font but on font size 22,
Background Light Grey Forground Null i wrote ''Your Love''
convert this layer to a raster layer...by going to Layers - convert to raster layer...

then write 'Life' in the same font but at size 36 Background WHITE,foreground null

and lastly in pixellette font I wrote ''brings me to life'' change the colour back to grey
with these settings....

by the way...these are also the settings i use to wrote my ©

as it is a nice small but clear font to use.

ok so we have the tag, now to animate it

........................................

first we will make the coloured tube invisible..

do this by looking at your layers pallette, find your coloured tube and click on the eye symbol, a red cross will appear over the eye, and your tube will disapear from your tag.... see below for the layers pallette..

now copy merged and paste as a new animation into animation shop

back to PSP

and clcik on the eye again to make the coloured tube visable again.

then copy merged and paste after current frame in animation shop...

you now have a 2 frame animation .

click on frame 1 to make sure its selected

the one selected is in blue..

now go to Effects - Insert Image Transition and use the following settings...

now you will have a 9 frame animation.

go to Edit - select all

then Edit - Copy and paste as a NEW ANIAMTION...

now go to select all, then animation reverse frames...

then select all - and go to edit - copy

now go back to the original animation click on the last frame (frame 9) and

paste AFTER current frame....

*close animation 2 you do not need it.*

now i want to slow the animation down on a couple of frames...

.so find Frame 1 and click anywhere inside the frame to select it,

then go to Animation - frame properties

and change the display time to 50

(if you want it to be faster make it 25)

do the same for frame 18 and for frame 9 change to 100

thats it your tag should have a smooth transition from grey to colour...

save as a gif and your done...

HOW TO - Sparkly Text

Lots of people asked me how I do this effect so I thought it was about time I wrote a tut for it.

and if you havent figured it out yet I just LOVE sparkles!!!!
To complete this tut you will need a good understanding of psp.

You will also need the following plugin: Alienskin Xenofex 2

and Animation shop

MY SUPPLIES free HERE- made by me

Font used was Heartbreaker - get it HERE

Open a blank canvas 510 x 350 flood fill with white
(you can always crop later if needed)

1st we are going to type out the text,
I used the font following settings below

1st type out ' You're A - convert to raster layer then add a drop shadow see below

then type out Breaker and add the same drop shadow as before

arrange the words on the canvas like mine
then go to Merge down so that the words are on the same layer.

copy and paste the Glitter I provided and slide this layer underneath the text layer

add the same drop shadow as before...

copy and paste the heart I provided (made by me) and slide this layer below the text also.

then duplicate it and slide this one above the text...
you should have something that looks like this...

using the following settings when you select the erasor tool

now you want to erase a little of the heart on both letters 'e'

(just above the hole for the 'e')so that the heart looks like it is threaded through the word Breaker

ok now select the text layer and

select the magic wand tool,

I used these settings

then while holding the shift key down, select the inside of the text.
ok you should see the text selected like this..

while the text is still selected go to

Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation with the following settings.

click ok

then go to Selections none - copy merged and paste into Animation shop as a new frame

back to PSP

click undo button twice, and go to Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation with the the same settings but this time hit the random button.

then go to Selections none

then copy merged and paste into Animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

click undo twice,

go to Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation

with the the same settings, hit the random button one last time.

go to Selections none

copy merged and paste into Animation shop after current frame one last time

save as a gif and you are done..

Bella's Lullaby

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

Font used was windsong get it HERE

and this twilight themed Scrap kit called Bella's Lullaby by Pimpd Scraps

open a new canvas 600 X 600

I like room to work, you can always reszie or crop later...

open up the silver circle frame from the kit, resize using smartsize by 55%

copy and paste onto the canvas..

click inside the frame with the magic wand tool.

and go to selections - modify - expand by 3
then copy and paste the blue paper as a new layer

go to selections invert and hit delete to remove the excess...

while your selection is still active open up the zindy tube and resize by 80%
then copy and paste as a new layer..
arrange it in the frame then hit the delete key to remove the excess

now go to seletions none.

now slide the frame to the top layer...if unsure how to do this..
click on the frame layer then go to Layers - arrange- bring to top.

add a drop shadow..

i used the following

now open bella's lullaby music sheet..
resize by 60% then copy and paste it onto your canvas

then go to image - rotate- free rotate left by 10

then go to Layers - arrange- send to bottom

now duplicate the sheet , go to image - mirror...arrange to liking..

add the blue gitter music notes..
add a drop shadow same as before but this time the opacity at 35

now copy and paste the swirl from the kit go to image - mirror
add a drop shadow as before
opacity at 47

and with the eraser tool, delete the overhang on the left side
just make sure your eraser settings are
hardness density and opacity are all set to 100 to make certain
you leave no trace when you erase it

now add flower1 from the kit...then go to Layers - arrange - bring to top.
go to image mirror then resize by 50%
add a drop shadow as before but blur set at 5
duplicate it then go to image mirror and resize by 80%

open up the white rose from the kit, resize using smartsize by 30%
then free rotate left by 35

add a drop shadow..

then duplicate this and mirror it.

rotate this one again right by 20%

add bow3 from the kit resize by 35% add a drop shadow....

make sure you are happy with flower arangement behind the bow...

copy and paste the clouds from the kit resize by 60% and arrange to the right...

now add your name using the following settings with the windsong font

crop around your tag to remove the excess and your tag

HOW TO - colour black and white image

hopefully you will learn how to add some colour to a black and white image.

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Olga Levchenko

right click and Save the image to your desktop
It is sized already for you ...........................................

Open it in psp
Ok we are going to colour this a little
If you have bad eyes like me you might want to zoom it when you do this lol

click on your lasso tool and choose the freehand selection using these settings

Now very carefully left click around her lips keeping as close to the edge as possible,

ending with a right click to join it up.
You should see what looks like marching ants around her mouth.

Now Adjust – Hue and Saturation – Colourise
Using the settings below then Select none

Back to your lasso freehand tool

Now we will colour her eyes: again select the area around her eye that you want to colour when you have done one and want to do the next hold your shift key and it will keep the 1st eye selected while you do the 2nd.

Again to colour go to Adjust – hue and saturation – colourise using these settings below

Using the settings below then go to - Select none

this makes them a nice green colour.

I am going to leave the colouring there as I believe less is more lol

Therefore, you should have something that looks like this now

Ok now go to Image – add border
settings at 3, use a colour from your tube I used light grey

Then go to Image - add border settings 7 using a dark grey

Ok now to add your name
I used Haettenschweiler font using the following colours

- foreground light grey - background dark grey
font size 60

My name did not fit across the whole tag so I stretched it out a little to make it longer just by dragging the edges out using the box that appears around the text when you 1st apply it as a vector.

now dd a drop shadow go to - Effects - 3D Effects - Drop shadow :
I used Vertical 1 Horizontal 1opacicity 63 Blur 2 colour black
I lowered the opacity to about 60 just by sliding the opacity layer down on your layers palette.

add the copyright and save your tag

UNZIP ALL THE SUPPLIES

Place the mask in your masks folder before you begin...

open up the template, delete the watermark by missy layer and the white background layer

then go to iMAGE - CANVAS SIZE and use these settings

next make sure you are on the rounded rectangle bit 2 layer and go to Layers - merge down

this will merge the 2 rounded edges of the template togther on 1 layer.

open up CT-paper5
and copy and paste as a new layer - move to the bottom by going to Layers - arrange - send to bottom
now its time to apply the mask...
go to Layers - Load/save mask - load mask from disk with these setttings

then go to layers Merge Group

NOW click on the rounded edges layer that you merged earlier on, and

go to Selections - select all, - selections - modify - expand by 1

then copy and paste CT-paper7 into selection
Selections none - add a drop shadow using these settings

now copy and paste the red glitter spill as a new layer, and resize using smartsize

by 70% and arrange to the left..

then duplicate this layer and go to Image Flip and arrange to the right.

now merge down and add a drop shadow using the same settings as before.

now time to glitter the frames..
open up the glitter tile i provided in suplplies...for this tut i ised Silver, leave it open in psp...

now make sure you are on layer Frame 1
select the frame by going to Selections - select all - float

then go to Selctions - modify - expand by 1

and then choose your paintbucket tool and for the forground of your material palette (where you would normally change the colour of your text) click on the patterns tab and find your glitter tile.

use these settings and click ok...

now just floodfill your frame with the glitter.
go to selections none add a drop shadow as before then

repeat this process for all 3 frames....

now now its time to add your images....

make sure your background frame1 is your active layer go to Selections - select all

then copy and paste as a new layer the image of your choice ,

go to Selections invert and hit the delete key.

then selections none ..

repeat this process for all 3 frames - go to merge down twice so that all 3 images are on the same layer

then slide this layer with all the images underneath the frames.

add a bow or ribbon of choice from the kit.

i resized mine by 70% using smartsize and added the same drop shadow as before

and with your selection tool just delete the excess.

now add the new years word art, i resized mine by 70% using smartsize then go to Adjust Sharpness - sharpen and again added the same drop shadow.

add the atist © and your name

Then just save as a png. and your are done!..thanks for trying my tutorial

mask from vixpsp under goodies - masks i used Vixmask 42 from set 2 but why not treat yourself to all of them they are fab.
unzip your masks and place them in your psp masks folder

ok open a new canvas 500x450
flood fill with white

add a new raster layer and click on your flood fill tool...
you will need to make your own gradient by combining
two colours from your tube as a Foreground/Background Gradient
Angle 45 Repeat 2 ok flood fill your canvas with the gradient.

go to Layers - Load save mask from disk ..select the Vix_mask42
with the following settings.

go to layers- merge group
add a drop shadow I used Vertical 1 Horizontal 2 Opacity 60 Blur 6 with a mid blue colour.

copy and paste your tube as a new layer, resize as necessary and add the same drop shadow as before this time in Black.

Add a close up image as a new layer go to Layers - properties and change the blend mode to Luminance legacy and reduce the opacity to about 30-40 %

Add your name i used the same colour Gradient as before.

ok now click on the mask layer and go to
Effects – Plugins - Alienskin xenofex 2 – constellation
With the settings below:

then go to Image - copy merged- and paste into Animation shop

back to PSP and click undo,

again go to Effects – Plugins - Alienskin xenofex 2 – constellation, and click the random button,

go to Image - copy merged - and paste into Animation shop after current frame

back to PSP and click undo,

Repeat this process one more time so that you have 3 frames in your animation.

save as a gif and your done.

Candied Hearts

Font used for my name was Carpenter, its a PTU one.

Download supplies and unzip them, place mask in your masks folder
now we are ready to begin......
open a new canvas 550 x 550
copy and paste the pink animal print paper from the kit as a new layer onto your canvas
now apply the mask by
going to to Layers - Load save mask from disk ..select the WSL_Mask261
with the following settings.

now go to Layers - merge group

copy and paste the clouds from the kit and arrage to the left

open up frame 4 from the kit, resize using smartsize by 80%

now select your magic wand tool, and click inside the frame

now go to Selections - modify - expand by 8 , click ok.

copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer, once you are happy with placement, got to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove excess..

then go to selections none.

duplicate the tube layer, then change the blend mode to soft light and merge down to merge the 2 layers

now slide the merged tube layer beneath the frame layer.

now add your full length tube of choice, if using the same elias tube as i did, then resize by 80% using smartsize , add a drop shadow. and arrange to the left.

copy and paste 'LOVE2' word from the kit, arrange to the bottom

do the same with the word 'sweet', add a drop shadow of choice.

now make sure that your tube is placed nicely behind the words...

now add the flower2 from the kit resize 70% see my tag for placement.

now open up the lips, rotate left by 20%

simply by going to image - rotate - free rotate left and change the number to 20.

then resize by 50% and copy and paste as a new layer

now add your name with a font of choice

i used carpenter font size 72, background red foreground null

then and the artists copyright

if you are happy save it as a either a jpg or .png and your are done!

how to - use a mask

For this tut I am using the artwork of Deacon black
You need a licence to use his work it can be purchased at CDO these days

You will need a tube, a close up image of your choice.
The mask is provided below.

*I got it from Becky @ Secrets of the imagination which is now closed*.

Right click and save this mask to your desktop.

Open a canvas 500 x400
Flood fill with a colour from your tube.
Layers – new mask layer – from image

Select your mask from the dropdown menu making sure invert is
NOT ticked
Delete mask layer from your layer palette and merge group.
Add a drop shadow
V2 H2 opacity 50 blur 5 - colour white

Add your close up as a new layer and play with the blend nodes till you are happy with the effect.

I used luminance legacy then soft light.

You might also want to feather it a little, so it blends better,

you can do this by
Selections all – selections Float – selections defloat – selections modify feather

- then selections invert.

Feather with the settings below:

Add your main tube add a drop shadow you like.

Ok, now add your © and your name and or saying.

The font I used was Bank gothic LT BT
size 48 - kerning 100 - colour black

now click on the original star and

go to Effects - Plug-ins - Toadies - what are you use the following settings...

now add a drop shadow to this layer using the following settings

copy and paste the love and patience word art as a new layer,

resize as necassary, duplicate and place where happy...

copy and paste as a new layer your tube of choice and resize as necessary...

add a drop shadow

add your name.... i used Twelve Ton Goldfish font a gradient using red and the neutral tone from my tube. (red foreground - neutral background) using the following settings in the material pallette.

*optional* add a new raster layer just above the white background

and add some small brushes as desired....

add your copyright info and you are done xx

first save my clover scatter its a .png so just right click and save it...

i MADE it so please dont use it in YOUR tuts, but you may use in any tags you make

OK, now Open a blank canvas 600 x 600 flood fill with white
(you can always crop later if needed)

if using the same tube as me, resize by 80% using smartsize,

duplicate the tube , make the bottom tube your active layer then go to effects - eyecandy 5 motion trail use the following settings

now you can either duplicate this layer,
which is what i did as i decided i wanted the blur a little darker after the fact..... or you can up the opacity setting to about 50-60 :)
now add the same tube again do not resize it this time
go to image- mirror then go to layers - properties and
change the blend mode from normal to screen

*optional* add the clover scatter i made as an embellishment.
slide this layer beneath the top tube
make the top tube the active layer, simply by clicking on it
and add a drop shadow to the top tube i used the following settings

click on the 'A' which is your text tool and write the text 'LUCKY CHARM'

using the free TOONISH font
i used a dark grey for the background colour and a green
from the tube for the foreground set the stroke to 2
see settings i used below

add a drop shadow same as before

before you start to animate its a good idea to add your name and copyright so that it stays in the same place and doesnt move around while trying to animate

now with your magic wand tool, i used the settings below

hold your shift button down on your keyboard and select inside each letter

once all are selected apply the constellation plug in by going to
Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation with the following settings

click ok
then go to Selections none - copy merge and paste into Animation shop as a new frame

back to PSP

click undo button twice, and go to Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation with the the same settings but this time hit the random button.

then go to Selections none
then copy merged and paste into Animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

click undo twice,

go to Effect- Plugins - Alien skin Xenofex2 - constellation with the the same settings, hit the random button one last time.

go to Selections none- copy merged and paste into Animation shop after current frame one last time

save as a gif and you are done.

open a new canvas 500 x 500 with a transparent background
open frame2 from the kit, resize using smartsize by 10%

click inside the frame with the magic wand tool, once
selected go to Selections - modify - expand by 4
open up the green paper from the kit and resize it by
10% then copy and paste as a new layer onto your
canvas then go to selections invert and hit the delete
key on your keyboard to remove the excess,
then go to selections none.
open up lucky glitter resize by 40% add to canvas then
duplicate and arrange to your liking
open up lucky me clover tag with clover resize by 25%

add a drop shadow, i used the following settings

slide this and the glitter layers beneath the frame and paper layers
add a tube of choice, resize as nessasary depending on
which tube you use, carefully erase the part sticking
out from the bottom of the frame
these are my settings for the erasor tool

duplicate and slide the duplicate beneath the frame layer,

then make the top tube the active tube simply by clicking on it, add a drop shadow now then with your erasor tool erase the area that overlaps the bottom of the frame...untill it
looks tidy at the bottom and her head appears to come
out of the frame like mine.

open up the alpha

resize each letter by 25% using smartsize

add a drop shadow to each, i rotated the letters 'U'
and 'Y' to the right by 10 to make them appear crooked

write out the text 'Feeling' with a nice script font of choice,

i used a free one called celine dion handwriting available free here
add a drop shadow same as before

now its time to add your name and artist ©

if you are happy save it as a .png and your are done!

then go to selections invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess.

slide the paper underneath the frame

copy and paste string2 from the kit

add the following drop shadow with shadow lab

if you dont have shadow lab , no worries just add a drop shadow with a lot of blur..

so something like vertical 5 horizontal 0 opacity 78 blur 10

add the gems from the kit, no need to resize.

add the staples

then add ribbon10 from the kit, resize by 70% then go to

Adjust Sharpness - sharpen

then add the following shadow using shadowlab

add a couple of flowers from the kit, resize by 40% and add a drop shadow to each
add a tube of choice, i used the same drop shadow using shadowlab as before.

add your name i used Toonish font set to 48 background fill set to black and foreground fill set to a light blue from the tube, set to stroke 2

add a drop shadow...add the artists ©

Save your tag as a JPEG or a PNG and your done!

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

you will need PSP,

and this stunning Scrap kit by Pimp'd Scraps called Mid Summer Night

open up canvas 650 x600 you can always crop later..i like room to work..

open up frame3 from the kit resize by 70% , then duplicate and rotate right by 75
slide this frame to the bottom.

make a selection inside 1 of the frames go to selection modify expand by 5

then copy and pate paper27 from the kit as a new layer. now go to selection invert and hit the delete key to remove the excess... repeat this for both frames. and slide the papers below the each frame.

copy and paste the star cluster and slide this layer to the bottom, so its underneath the frames and papers. arrange to the left side.

flower3 rotate clockwise 90 resize by 70%, slide this layer between the 2 frames,so that its below the top frame but above the bottom one.

then duplicate the flower3 and then flip it so that its arranged to the bottom of the frames,

add flower2 resize by 60% add this to the top left of the top frame, so that it looks like its draping down the frame

copy and paste flower 7

resize by 60% and arrange to the top left of the canvas, duplicate and arrange slightly lower down ... do the same for flower8 , then duplicate them both and arrange a couple more to the right side...see my tag for placement.

add a drop shadow to each flower, I used vertical -1 horizontal -1 opacity 57 blur 5

flower13 resize by 80% and arange at the bottom of the frames...slide this layer to the top

copy and paste the greensribbon from the kit and resize by 70% and arrange to the bottom of the canvas.

now find your top frame layer and select inside the frame, go to sleections modify expand by 5

then copy and paste an image of choice .. and go to selctions invert and hit delete to remove the excess..slide this layer underneath the top frame.

add your name and © and save as either a jpg or .png

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP

mask 206 by WEESCOTSLASS download from her site HERE

Scrap kit used is Fairytale by me which you can purchase from Digital Chaos or Twilight Scraps

my scraps blog is HERE

first add the mask to your masks folder....

open up fairytaleCluster7 from the kit,

now open up a paper of choice from the kit, i used paper1

copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

go to Layers - arrange - send to bottom

now apply a mask of choice , i used WSL_Mask206

do this by clicking on Lyers - load/save mask - load mask from disk check your settings are the same as mine if you want the same look.

click load. then Layers - merge group

add a tube of choice, resize if needed,
now slide this one beneath the frame then add a drop shadow, then duplicate the tube and slide this one above the frame.
now we will make it appear like she is coming out of the frame...on the top tube layer just erase the bottom part of the tube to just above the bottom of the frame.
ok now click on the bottom tube layer to activate it and just erase any of the tube thats poking out at the bottom beneath the flowers
ok hopefully you are with me so far...

this kit comes with some word art, so we are gonna use some of that too...so open up the in your dreams glitter text from the kit, resize by 80% then go to Adjust - sharpness - sharpen, now copy and paste onto your greenery
now open up the Fairytale greencluster, i wanted to add more greenery, as if the text was nestled in it...
resize by about 40% then copy and paste onto your canvas to the left side then duplicate it , mirror and flip it and arrange to the ride side.
then i just added a couple of additional flowers from the kit resized by 40% and add a drop shadow to each.
add your Artist © and your name and save as a . png if you want a transparent background or a jpg for a white background.
the tag below was made from the same kit, using the same method but using different elements and a different tube.

IT GIRL

open up circle cluster frame from the kit

move it down the canvas slightly

then add a tube of choice, duplicate it and slide the duplicate underneath the frame.

add a drop shadow to the duplicated tube ( the one under the frame)

now with the eraser tool erase anything sticking out from the bottom of the frame,

(i used the following settings)

then click on the top tube layer to activate it, and with the eraser tool erase the parts

of the tube that you dont want that are hanging out from the bottom of the frame.

*if you would lke to leave the ruffle of her shirt hanging over the bottom of the frame*

then what i did was, use the eraser tool for her body leaving the ruffle alone for the

minute...

then using your lassoo tool set on point to point using the following settings,

I usually zoom in to do this by about 300% to better see the edges. select the area around the ruffle that you want to remove, when happy with the seletion double click to close the selection and hit the delete button to remove the excess.

go to SELECTIONS - NONE

now to add a background for the frame, click inside the frame using the magic wand tool
go to selelctions - modify expand by 10 then copy and paste a paper as a new
layer, i used the blue one, go to selections invert and hit the delete key on your keyboad to remove the excess.
then slide this layer beneath the frame.
next i added the blue scattered hearts from the kit slide this layer beneath the frame
also, i added the following drop shadow.

this kit also comes with a cute font which i used to add my name,

just make a selection around the letter you want to use cut and paste in onto the canvas as a new layer.

merge all by going to Layers - merge all visible

then resize entire tag by 80% using smartsize then add your copyright and save your

tag as a .png with unique filename of your choice.

HANDY TIP

if you want to save a LAYERED version of your tag, then DONT merge it, before merging and resizing just save as a .psp file with a uniqe name.

i just did that to resize all the layers, as sometimes when resizing all layers slight movement problems can occur

for this tutorial you may need a basic knowledge of PSP but i try and make them easy for beginers to understand
you will need PSP, i use PSP9
Plugins :

MuRa's Miesta - Copies
Alien Skin Eye Candy 5 - IMPACT - Bevel
Penta.com - Jeans

gradient of choice, loads of niice gradient can be found at Nansons Place
and 2 or 3 tubes
.......................................................

add your new gradients to your gradients folder on your computer

(cos if your anything like me you grabbed the lot lol)

Lets begin......
open canvas 600 x 600
floodfill with white
Add a heart shape using the preset shape tool
draw out the heart shape with a gradient of choice as your background fill, foreground should be null.
if you do not have the heart shape tool a heart shape brush or template will work just as good.
now rotate the heart right by approx 10- 15 whatever looks good to you.

now add tubes of choice, i used the same keith garvey tube 3 times, arrange them over your shape as you like,

once happy with placement, change the blend mode to screen for ALL 3 tubes, by going to Layers - properties - a pop up box will appear change the blend mode from normal to screen

Make a final check you are happy with placement then merge down all 3 tubes

by going to layers - merge down (twice)

next make sure the shape layer is selected and go to

Selections - select all - float then selections invert,

make your tube layer the active layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard.
this should remove all your excess tube hanging over your shape.

selections none to remove the marching ant selection.

now duplicate the merged tube layer , this will make it brighter, if its too bright turn down the opacity a bit. it really depends what tube and what gradient you use...so go with what looks best to you.

close of your white background by clicking on the eye in your layers and merge visable.

now to apply apply the jeans effect, with PENTA.COM pluginso you go to Effects - Plugins - Penta - Jeans see below for setting in my screenshot

then duplicate the the heart and add a bevel,

go to Effects - Plugins - Eye candy 5 -impact - bevel with the following settings:

before clicking ok change the lighting tab as folows

click ok

almost there...i hope you are following ok so far....

on your bottom heart layer we are going to add the
MuRa's Miesta - Copies filter for the background...

click ok

back to your top heart layer that you addef the bevel to...

add a drop shadow you like - Effects - 3d effects - drop shadow

now we are going to add the dotted lines, so clic on your pen tool then back to your material pallette:

foreground should be the the colour / gradient you want and background should be null.

choose a custom line style from the drop down box, i chose the diamond one on width 4

settings Below,

make sure the straight mode is selected.

and simply click and drag your line across the canvas making a straight line.
then arrange to liking
convert to raster by going to layers - convert to raster

add a drop shadow , i used the settings below

add your name or text

on the top tag i used Miss Lankfort font with the same gradient for my backgrond fill and white set at 2 as my foreground colour.

on the bottom tag i used Gothikka font with the same gradient for my backgrond fill and white set at 2 as my foreground colour.

add the artist © information

save your tag and your done.

3 images of choice and flowers of choice

Penta.com plug-in (12th one down) HERE

Open a New canvas 600x450

Take 3 images you like
and arrange them to your liking on your canvas

Now we are going to try and blend them together

Make sure your middle image is the top layer
now with your freehand selection (Lasso tool) -
Make a selection like below:

go to -Selections - modify - Feather – with the settings below:

Then hit the delete key once maybe twice, whatever looks best

selections - select none

repeat on the other side of the image

selections - select none

now you should have something that looks like this:

resize the whole tag by 90%

on a new layer select your preset shape tool –
rectangle - background white - foreground null

draw out a rectangle across the width of the tag
at the bottom - change the blend mode to soft light –
it should turn transparent

now Layers - merge All (flatten)

effects – plug-ins – penta.com - dot and cross
with the settings below:

add some nice accents - see my finsihed tag for example…

I changed the blend mode to Luminance legacy on both flower tubes.

by right clicking on your layer – go to properties and change the blend mode on both flower tube layers to luminance legacy - see below:

image - add borders - colour black - 2 pixels

now and your name - the font I used was:
Miss Le Gatees - size 72 - colour black

I Rock - animated tutorial

things you will need:

PSP and animation shop

and a fairly good knowledge of both, as we will be working with lots of layers

for this tut we will not be using any templates, just the kit and a tube.....

scrap kit, I used a fab FREE kit 'All Loved up' by my pal Twinky HERE
MASK no 81 from weescotslass download it and lots more fab masks from her site HERE

Font used was Shark Random Funnyness - get it FREE HERE

For this tut I am using the artwork of Rion Vernon you will need to buy a licence to use this artists work at CDO, I bought my tubes long ago from GILD which is now closed.

place the masks in your mask folder

open A NEW canvas 650 x 450
i like room to work....

open up paper 2 from the kit, copy and paste the paper onto your canvas,

then apply the mask see correct settings below...

go to Layers - merge group,
this falls a little short of where i want it...so duplicate it, move one slightly up and 1 slightly down so that you have a more even coverage for your background
see below..

open the frame called Twinky_AllLovedUp_FramesSquare.png
resize it by 80% using smartsize

copy and paste it onto your canvas
now select the magic wand tool

to select all 3 at the same time, hold down the shift key and click inside each frame

now copy and paste paper11 from the kit as a new layer , go to Selections- Invert and then hit the delete key.

slide the paper layer underneath the frame

now open up heartframe2 from the kit, go to Image Mirror,

then resize it by 60% using smartsize,
rotate Right by 20%
see my tag for placement

at this point its important to check your heartFrame is underneath the square frame.

now add the heart border from the kit, this goes on the layer above the square frame,
resize this by 70% using smartsize. and add a drop shadow as follows...

ok remember the heart frame we added before i want you to dupliacte it, and bring the duplicated one to the top layer

so now you have 1 heartframe below the square frame and 1 above..

make the one above the active layer and select the eraser tool,

your settings should be as follows

and erase the section of the top heart that i have marked in white.see below...

ok yours may not have been too tidy, I know mine wasnt, so we are going to add a safety pin to hide any imperfections....I chose the blue one from the kit and just resized mine by 60%
add a drop shadow... same as before
you can either fill the heartframe with paper9 as i did or not, either way looks good.
if you do want to, Select inside the heart frame (the bottom one) using the same method as before and fill it with paper9
now add a drop shadow for the bottom heartframe and the square frame too...using the same drop shadow settings as before.
ok so far this is what I have ..you should also have something similar...

then I added Appleblossom1 resized it by 60% added the same drop shadow as before, and place it to the right. where her hand is, then added Appleblossom3 and resized that by 40% and placed it directly in the middle of the flower before , again added a drop shadow.
you can now add your tube...I used Rion for both the top and bottom tags...then add more elements from the kit, there are some fab ones ..
I wont insult you by telling you exactly where i placed what where, you should be able to tell by looking at the tag....but mostly i used the heart beads, which i resized by 25% using smartsize, I also rotated a couple left by 20%
I also used the Heart buttons which i resized by 60%, I also rotated a couple of these,left by 20%
in the top tag I also used flower 3 & 4 , these i resize by 25% always using smartsize.
now add your artist ©
now its time to animate the text..

font used was SHARK RANDOM FUN - with these settings

foreground blue colour - #4ec8d5
background red colour - #a61c29

add your name using the settings above,

I rotated mine slightly, then add a drop shadow.same as before..

reduce the opacity of the your name to 50%
then copy merged into animations shop,as a new animation

back to PSP

raise the opacity of the your name to 100%
then copy merged into animations shop,this time after current frame

back to PSP

reduce the opacity of the your name back to 50%
then copy merged into animations shop,as a new animation

back to PSP

reduce opacity of your name to '0' then copy merged into animations shop, after current frame.

back to PSP

now add the word 'Rocks' next, using the same settings as before, dont forget to add the same drop shadow as before....and if you slanted your text, do so again...

now make your name visible for a second, just while you line up the word 'rocks', you want it in the same place, otherwise it will look like its jumping. once you have it lined up, lower the opacity of your name to '0' again ...

now lower the opacity of the word 'rocks' to 50% and copy merged into animation shop, after current frame.

back to PSP

raise the opacity to 100%, coopy merged into animation shop, after current frame.

back to PSP

slide the opacity back to 50% , coopy merged into animation shop, after current frame.

back to PSP

for the last frame you want to slide the opacity to '0' so you cannot see any text ... copy merged into animation shop, after current frame.

now in animation shop you will want to slow the animation sown a little ..so go to Animation - frame properties, change the number to 20 or 25 that usually looks good...

now view the animation you should have animated text like mine!
save it as a gif and you are done....

SPARKLE & SHINE - Garv

open a new canvas 500 x 500

floodfill with white or as i did with a color from the kit..

colour used was HTML #b6a8ac

OPEN UP THE SPARKLE GLITTER BORDER from the kit,

resize to 500 pixels, copy and paste onto your canvas.

select your magic wand tool, use these settings...

and click inside the border, then go to selections - modify expand by 5,
now add a new raster layer then open up the black paper ( paper1) from the kit and copy into selection. slide the paper layer below the border.

add some sparkles from the kit, i used the star cluster, but they are all fab..
copy and paste the pink diamondSwirl onto your canvas, arrange to the center, mine overlapped the top so i just erased the very top little swirl.
add a drop shadow i used horizontal 2 vertical 2 opacity 63 blur 5
copy and paste the triple frame onto your canvas, then resize by 70%
click inside the frames while holding down the shift key to make sure all 3 are selected at the same time. once they are all selected,
go to selections modify expand by 2
then add a new layer and copy and paste paper5 into selection. and slide underneath the frame. now add a drop shadow to the frame.
then slide the pink swirl between the frame and the paper you just added..
you should have something that looks like this....

next you can add your name to the top right hand corner font i used was Terminator2 avaialable HERE FREE
settings for the font were...

background fill was the pink from the kit html colour code.#9f2d56
the forground fill I used the same as my background fill html colour code #b6a8ac
i used all lower case letters...as caps and lower case look different on this font.
add a drop shadow.

now add the sheer pink ribbon for the kit, resize by 70% and slide underneath the frame and background for the frame. add a drop shadow..

add the curled ribbon resize by 80% and add a drop shadow, arrange to the bottom of the canvas. add some flowers and buttons of choice, i resized mine by 50% and added a drop shadow to each.

see mine for placement till you have soemthing like this...

add the stitched heart and resize by 50% rotate right by 25 add a button resize by 70%

now add an eyeletbow resize by 70% and rotate right by 25% add to the top left of the tag..
ow add an eyeletbow resize by 50% and rotate right by 140 add to the bottom right of the tag..
you now should have something like this...

add the tube of choice, resize if neccasary and add the artists ©
now find the Pink swirl layer and add the constellation filter
by going to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation
using the following settings..

click ok to apply the effect

now find your name layer and add the same filter...

go to Edit - copy merged and paste into animation shop...

back into PSP
and click the undo button till the sparkle is removed from your name and the pink swirl.
THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE but this time click on the random seed button....
copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

back to PSP
again, click the undo button till the sparkle is removed from your name and the pink swirl.
THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE click on the random seed button once more....
copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.
now slow your animation down a little by going to
edit- Select all then go to animation - frame properties and change the display time to 20
view your animation, if you are happy save it as a gif and your are done

Golden Brown - blend tut

you will need PSP,
Plugins :
Alienskin xenofex 2
VM Extravaganza - Transmission
gradient of choice, gradient from Nansons Place
I used Copper Polish from set 3b.
and 2 or 3 tubes
.................................................

add your new gradients to your gradients folder on your computer

(cos if your anything like me you grabbed the lot lol)

Lets begin......
open canvas 480 x 260
floodfill with white then add a new raster layer and floodfill with the gradient of your choice. I used Copper Polish from set 3b.
and settings as below....

go to Effects - Plugins - Alienskin xenofex 2 - constellation
and apply the following settings.

now copy and paste as a new layer the 1st tube you are going to use...

go to Selections - select all - Selections Float - selections modify - feather and change the value to 25.

click ok ...

then back to selection - invert and then press the delete key.
this should have made the edges of the tube slightly faded.

do this for each tube you use.

deselect by clicking on - Selections none

ok now arrange them on your canvas as you like...

add a new raster layer and floodfill with the same gradient as before...
but this time change the layer blend mode to Colour legacy

*for those that dont know* you do this by going to Layers - Properties and change the settings in the pop up box that appears..use the settings below.

now we want to add a border add a new raster layer and floodfill again with the same gradient.

now go to selections - select all then selections modify - contract and input the value 10 in the pop up box that appears...then hit the delete key.

Selections NONE.

now add a drop shadow you like - Effects - 3d effects - drop shadow ..i used the following settings.

*optional* top tag has this effect the bottom one hasnt.
if you want the line effect across your tag then on each tube layer go to Effects - Plugins - VM Extravaganza - Transmission
and use the following settings

add your name and the artist © information

save your tag and your done.

below is another tag made using the same method and a different gradient i also missed out the plugins.......xx

Fun & Flirty - blend tut

I am using the artwork of Dean Yeagle you can get his tubes from CDO
however you can use any tubes you like...

tubes and a mask of choice....

I used a heart shaped one 'VIX_MASK13 from here thanks Vix hun x...

again you really could use any shape you like, once you know how ;)

once you have chosen a mask to use, make sure it is placed in your masks folder in PSP for use later.

Open raster a new canvas 500x 500
Flood fill with white
Choose 3 or 4 tubes of you liking , and arrange them on your canvas

I added the the middle tube last so it was on the top layer and placed it slightly lower than the other 2
now go to Adjust - hue and saturation - colourise

adjust the hue and saturation both to '0' on for all tube layers

all tubes should now be grey...

X out your white background layer
(hide the visability of this layer on your layers menu by clicking on the eye symbol - As you do not want to merge this layer yet)
now merge visible Layers

* Important - now make your white filled layer visable again *

Add a new layer and flood fill with a colour or Gradient of your choice

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE HOW TO MAKE A GRADIENT TRY HERE FOR A GOOD TUT ON IT

I used Foreground HTML no:#400040 and Background HTML no: #e1cfb7

now you have your gradient colours choose these settings for your gradient

floodfill your canvas then change the blending node to Burn
as shown below

by going to Layers - Properties - Burn

MERGE ALL
Reduce opacity to around 70

Layers - LOAD/SAVE MASK- Load mask from disk
Select your mask in the dropdown with the following settings

Click OK

Right click on your layers and merge group.

now go to Effects - Texture effects– WEAVE
with these settings

Merge all again

Using the Crop Tool select just the head shots - copy and paste as a new image
As shown below

Select this as your fill for your text in the pattern section of background fill instead of a colour and make the foreground the dark purple you used before.

Add your text using a chunky font and stretch out to a nice size so that you see the faces in your words.

I used Berlin Sans FB Demi on the folowing settings

Add a drop shadow I used v2 h2 opacity 60 blur 3 colour #3a283a

Princess - how to add sparkles

This animated tag tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 09/02/07 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental

To complete this tut you may need a good understanding of psp. You will also need the following plugin:
Alienskin Xenofex 2 and animation shop

For this tut I am using the artwork of Suzanne Woolcott you will need to buy a licence to use this artists work at her store HERE

Open a blank canvas 500 x 500 flood fill with white
(you can always crop later if needed)
Choose 2 colours from your tube - foreground being the darker and background being the lighter.
I used bank gothic size 48 stroke 2 kerning -175
Write out the word PRINCESS then stretch it out to the size that you feel looks right
Duplicate it
On the copy add the following inner bevel - see below

Add a drop shadow I used H2 V2 opacity 50 blur 5
change the colour to lilac

Select the original go to Adjust – blur- Gaussian blur with the settings below

Then Effects – Texture Effects – Blinds with the settings below then again with horizontal unchecked.

Next add your tube resize if needed and add a drop shadow
Add your artist's copyright and your name.
Crop if necessary

ANIMATION

X out your 2 bottom layers as shown below.

Merge visible - this should merge all your top layers leaving your white background and your blurred layer.

Click on your blurred layer and add the Alienskin xenofex 2 constellation effect with the following settings:

Uncheck your white background and MERGE ALL copy and paste into Animation Shop.

Back into PSP - click the undo button 2 times, then repeat the constellation effect twice more, copying and pasting into Animation Shop. Each time remembering to click the random seed button.

You now should have 3 frames in Animation Shop - save as a gif and your done.

and a filter called - Filters Unlmited 2 - Audio wave
font used was add your name with the font pulse sans virgin - also free HERE

floodfill with white,
save this button i made to your computer..
its a .png so just right click and save it

copy and paste button onto your canvas arrange to the left,

then add a drop shadow i used horizontal 5 vertical 5 opacity 37 blur 5

duplicate it and arrange alongside the other to the right..

if you so wish you can now add your name using the Pulse font, i used font size 36 colour red.

also add your copyright for the tube you used.

using the preset shape button, draw out a rectangle for the animation effect, foreground null, background red

convert to raster layer

arrange underneath the 2 buttons

click inside it, with your magic wand tool

make sure the material pallette is background colour red and forgeound colour white.
now apply the filter / plugin Filters Unlmited 2 - using the following settings on audio wave.

copy MERGED and paste into animation shop as a new animation

back to PSP...

click the undo button...

now apply the filter / plugin again this time change the number from 199 to 205

copy MERGED and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP...

click the undo button...

now apply the filter / plugin again this time change the number from 205 to 215

copy MERGED and paste into animation shop after current frame

save as a gif and your done

if using the tube below, then like me, when applying the filter,
adjust the material pallette from red and white to black and red.

(the foreground colour will be the audio effect.)

NEVER KNOW - PTU TUT

Scrap kit called 'I know what you are' by Kirstys Scraps you can purchase HERE

add the mask to your masks folder....

open a new canvas 630 x 670 pixels

floodfill with white..

then
copy and paste paper12 from the kit onto your canvas as a new layer

apply the mask using these settings

go to Layers merge group

open up the wordart1 shadowed, resize by 80%...

copy and paste greenery5 from the kit arrange just above the wordart

copy and paste ribbon3 from the kit, arrang to the bottom of the wordart

then add the glitterCircle shadowed

now add a tube of choice,if using the same one i used then with your freehand selection tool

select the area that overlaps the GlitterCircle at the bottom..

Then go to selections - modify feather - 25

and hit the delete key twice..

this will remove the excess hanging over the frame at the bottom and leave a soft edge while doing so.

add the chain from the kit and resize by 50%..arrange to the right,

with the eraser tool set to 5, carfully erase small part of the top link so that it looks

like the vine is through the link.

add the cage and resize by 80% add a drop shadow

add the lamp and arrange to the left.

add your name i used P22oley font size 90.

add your ©...

layers merge all

then copy and paste the tag into animation shop

back to psp

click undo to unmerge the tag layers...then on your lamp layer we are going to add the light effect.

do this by going to Effects - illuminatin effects - sunburst

with the following settings...

now go to layers - merge all again...

then copy and paste the tag into animation shop this time AFTER CURRENT ANIMATION

NOw while in animation shop, click on the first frame, the one without the sunburst effect..

first change the frame properties to 100..
if unsure how..do this by going to animation - frame properties and change the display time to 100.

ok now go to EFFECTS - INSERT IMAGE TRANSITION..with the following settings....

then go to edit - select all...
then edit - copy, then paste as a NEW ANIMATION..
on this set of frames go to edit - select all....then animation - reverse frames...
now go to EDIT - select all then edit - copy and paste after current frame onto the
First set of frames
delete the last frame..frame18
view the animation, check the light glows then fades...slowly and there are no jumps...
if follwed my directions exactly there shouldnt be...
save as a .gif and you are done x

LOVE HURTS - animated tut - beating heart

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Dholl

this is not a general free to use artist, you need permission from this artist to use their artwork, but you can use any heart image/tube you have permission for...

My supplies HERE, tube is not supplied because its not a general free to use artwork, sorry.

However I believe I got my tube from the Zone Group HERE, they have permission as well as tubes

1st you need to UNZIP the supplies and import your brushes into PSP
If you want to know how to do this go HERE

Once your brushes are showing in PSP

open the rest of the supplies in PSP

*For beginners I have included the splattered background in the supplies Just copy and paste your splats template as a new layer onto your new and work from there and move onto step 3*

STEP ONE

Open a new canvas in PSP 600 x 500 and flood fill with White
Go to Layers – new raster layer

STEP TWO

Click on your paintbrush tool see my screenshot if your not sure where it is.

now select a splat brush of your choice, and change your colours in your material palette, foreground to red - background to black

Now just click on your new canvas and add the splat brushes -
left click for the red colour and right click for the black.

STEP THREE

Now take your heart tube and copy and paste it onto your splattered canvas.

Add a drop shadow using the settings below:

Now add your name or saying with a font of your choice and add your © information.
I used ephasis - font size 72 - colour black.

Next, click on your freehand selection tool it looks like a little lassoo

Trace an outline very carefully around the red part of the heart by left clicking around it and right clicking to join the ends… see below:

Leaving the area selected make 2 more copies of your heart, by pressing shift and D then on one of your copied hearts, go to
effects - distortion effects – punch

and use the settings below:

Then click on the 3rd copy of your heart and do the same
using 12 instead of 6 in your settings.

*I am using PSP 9 but in other versions, you may need to use
effects- geometric effects-punch instead*

click on each of your pictures individually and go to
selections - select none

and then selections - merge all (flatten)
on each frame

ok with me so far? Hope so …

now you need to copy and paste your 3 frames into animation shop

copy and paste frame 1 *the one we didn’t add any effect to* into Animation shop

now copy and paste frame 2 *the one we added the effect with settings 6* after current frame

and copy and paste the final frame after current frame too.

You should have 3 frames in animation shop now

Crop if necessary.

Now save your animation as a gif and your done, I hope you enjoyed it xx

Fade Away - animated tut- image transition -fade

Ok you could finish the tag here and save as a jpg
or you could do the animation.

Animation.

In PSP go to Edit – copy merged

now copy and paste into Animation shop

back to PSP

find your main image 2 from the supplies
click on the layer with the main image on your tag.
and copy and paste image 2 as a new layer
on top of the main image in exactly in the same place..
you want it exact otherwise when you animate it will jump around.

Go to - Edit - Copy merged
Now back to animation shop and paste after current frame

Repeat this step for main image 3
Again pasting after current frame
In animation shop you should have 3 frames to your animation.

Click on frame 1

Go to Effects - insert image transition – choose fade from the drop down menu option and adjust to the settings below:

This will add frames to your animation….

Now click on frame 12
Again go to effects – insert image transition – Fade
add the same settings as before.

Now click on frame 1 and copy and paste it after the very last frame (you should have 24 frames now).

Click on frame 23
Again go to effects – insert image transition

And add the fade with the same settings as before -
Crop around your image if needed.

Save as a gif and your done.

Faded Danger - no scraps tut

fantastic artwork by Mitch Foust, you will need his permission to use his art, if you do not have it then just use a different tube.

For this tut you will need Winrar to open the supplies
PSP, and Animation Shop
No outside filters or plugins needed

Unzip my supplies and open in PSP

open a new canvas 600 x 600 and flood fill with the colour white

*If using my template and tube skip ahead to step 2*

STEP 1

*if you want to use a different tube and colours then all I did to make the background was
select the rectangle preset with the following colours selected:

Background #3d3b45 - Foreground #e6e1d5 -line width 5

I clicked the magic wand inside the rectangle and added some brushes to make an interesting background. Then deselect your magic wand. or go to selections none

Add a drop shadow of V2 - H2 - opacity 47 - blur 8 - colour black

That’s the background done.*

*Step 2 Copy and paste the template provided…

type the word "Dangerous"
I used BN Machine font with the following colours:

Background #3d3b45 - Foreground #e6e1d5 - size 50 - stroke 2

Position over the top of your rectangle...

Now add your tube resize as needed:

Add a drop shadow of V2 - H2 - opacity 47 - blur 8 - colour black

And your name at the bottom or whatever you want it to say.
Add the same the same drop shadow as before

Add your ©

So you should have something that looks like this now:

ok, now onto the animation: this is just one way to do this type of animation I may show you other ways another time.....

Click on the layer that your tube is on
and lower the opacity of the tube down to "0"

This is done by sliding the little arrows down the bar until you hit 0

(See screen shot below:) You shouldn’t be able to see the tube now…
Edit - copy merged and paste
into Animation Shop...

Back to PSP

slide your opacity up to 20
Edit - Copy merge and paste - after current frame - in Animation Shop

Back to PSP

slide your opacity up to 40
Edit - Copy merge and paste - after current frame - in
Animation Shop

repaeat again at 60%

then again at 80%

then again at 100%

Still in Animation Shop
go to Edit – Select All

Then...

Edit - Copy - then Edit and paste as new animation

Now go to Edit – Select AlL

With everything selected go to Animation - Reverse Frames

Then go to Edit - copy then click on your original animation and
Edit - paste after current frame:

You should now have an animation 12 frames long.
The girl (or the tube you chose) should fade in and out when you view the animation

Almost done -
go to Edit - Select all
Then Animation – Frame Properties and a pop up box will appear
Change the display time from 10 to 40:

Save your animation as a gif and your done!

Eternity - no scraps tut

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Marta Dahlig
I love this artists work… I use what inspires me, and this art really does it for me.

For this tut you will need PSP, animation shop and Alienskin xenofex 2 Plugin, for the sparkle
Get a demo HERE

Open a new canvas 365 x500 and flood fill with white

you will need Marta's permission to use her art so if you do not have her pernission use another image you like
add a border by going to
Image – add borders
you want the settings at 1 pixel all the way round – colour white

Add another border but this time using settings at 7 pixels and a colour from your tube I used this colour #375c4b

Now copy and paste the image with the border as a new layer onto your canvas

Now duplicate your image by going to layers –duplicate

On the original layer, not the duplicated one go to
Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur

with the following settings

then go to

Effects - texture effects – blinds
With the settings below:

then repeat this step with the horizontal box unticked.

Now if you want to, you can add whatever text you would like to add and place it around the tag see my tag for example...

I used the words ‘what we do In life echoes in Eternity’
And I used a couple of different fonts but use your imagination its up to you.

Now add your © and your name - the font I used for my name was Ephasis and I believe it’s a pay for font so I cant share it sorry
Background a dark green - foreground a light green
Add a drop shadow - I used:

Animation

*Make sure your image layer is selected on your tag*

Now select your magic wand tool see screenshot below:

and click on the green border around your tag.

It should look like little marching ants around your border

Now duplicate your tag 2 times by pressing shift & D at the same time

Now you have 3 tags that look the same in PSP

Click on one of them and go to
Effects – Plugins - Alienskin xenofex 2 – constellation
With the settings below:

Then click on the next copy and do the repeat this step this time clicking once on the random seed button at the bottom

Now onto the 3rd copy and repeat again clicking once again on the random seed button

Ok, now click on each tag and go to Selections - None
Then Merge All (flatten)

Repeat this for each copy

Now take one of the copies and copy and paste into Animation shop

Then another copy and this time copy and paste after current frame

Repeat with the last copy

Now you should have 3 frames in Animation shop -

save your tag as a gif and your done.

open up a canvas 700x500 pixels Fllodfill with white...
add a new ratsre layer and Floodfill your canvas with the colour #ab7580 then apply the mask by going to
Layers- Load/save mask - Load mask from disk..a pop up will appear look for the mask called
Becky_Mask022 and use the settings below...

go to Layers - Merge Group

copy and paste the word Love supplied onto your canvas...see my tag for postioning..

we are now going to add a perpective shadow using a filter....

go to Effects - plugins - Alien skin - eye candy 5 - Impact - perspective shadow....
using these settings....

now click on the Basic tab and make sure your settings are the same as below..

you may find that the reflection doesnt touch the bottom of the word, seee below for how it should look...

if it doesnt, do not worry just adjust the nodes in the viewing window till you are happy with the alignement.

now add a tube of choice, I used the artwork of keith Garvey....

copy and paste the tube onto your canvas, duplicate it and slide 1 tube underneath the word LOVE.

add a drop shadow to the bottom tube..

Now select yor eraser tool, it looks like a pencil with a rubber on the end. and using these settings

making sure your top tube is the active layer..

carefully erase her legs where the right half of the letter 'O' and the left part of the letter 'V'

it doesnt have to be super neat as the bottom tube will fill in the blanks ...

SEE MY TAG ABOVE IF UNSURE...

select your magic wand tool with the following settings below

then make sure the word LOVE is the active layer and click inside each letter holding the shift key down at the same time so that all letters are selected at the same time..

see below...

go to Effects plugins - Alien skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

with these settings -

click ok to apply the effect

copy merged and paste into animation shop AS A NEW ANIMATION

back to PSP

CLICK UNDO

THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE but this time click on the random seed button....
copy merged and paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME.
back to PSP
CLICK UNDO
THEN go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE click on the random seed button once more....

Alienskin Eye Candy 5 Impact

unzip supplies
open frame in PSP
duplicate it Then select the bottom frame go to
Adjust Blur- Guassian Blur using these settings

then go to Adjust - blur- motion blur with these settings

duplicate this layer then go to Adjust - blur- motion blur with these settingsgo to Layers - Merge - merge downgo to the top frame without the blur added and select your Magic wand tool.
and click inside the left heart...
check that your wand is set to these settings..

go to Selections - modify - expand - by 7

copy and paste a tube of choice 'as a new layer' place it onto your frame where you think it looks good(see mine for ref) - then go to Selections - invert and hit the delete key.

slide this Tube underneath the frame. if unsure how to do this, go to Layers - Arrange - move down.

add another tube using the same method for the right frame....

once both tubes are underneath the frame merge these 2 tubes together,

by going to Layers - Merge- Merge down.

copy and paste the main tube onto your canvas, and resize using smartsize by 70%

place on the frame so that her knee is just above the middle heart frame...see mine if unsure...

ok now duplicate this tube and slide it just underneath the frame...
now we are going to add a drop shadow to the tube that is underneath the frame..
go to Effects - 34 effects - drop shadow - see settings below.

ok make your top tube the active layer, by clicking on it.
now select the eraser tool, it looks like a little pencil with a rubber on the end and make sure you use the following settings,
just click on the right leg just below the knee to erase that part of the leg only....it should now look like she is stepping through the frame....yayy!!
if you get it wrong just click undo and try again...
ok now back to the main tube that is underneath the frame we are now going to add a perpective shadow using a filter....

go to Effects - plugins - Alien skin - eye candy 5 - Impact - perspective shadow....
using these settings....
now click on the Basic tab and make sure your settings are the same as below..

add your name and © I used pixellette for the © and A&S Snapper font for my name...now click on the merged blurred frame layer... we are going to add the sparkles...using another filter..

go to Effects plugins - Alien skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation

with these settings -

click ok to apply the effect

copy merged and paste into animation shop AS A NEW ANIMATION

back to PSP

then go to Effects - plugins - alien skin xenoffex2 - constellation using the SAME SETTINGS AS BEFORE but this time click on the random seed button....

Angelic2 - animated - add noise

below is what you will be making, you will also learn how to add 'glitter' to your text.
For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Jennifer Janesko
Her tubes are available from CDO
PTU Scrap kit used was Looking Down by Kirsty from HERE
font used was Angelica get it free from HERE

open a new canvas 650 x 600
flood fill with white

Open up frame 5 from the kit,
go to image - mirror
select the magic wand tool and click inside the left frame, hold shift key down and select the right also
while they are both selected, go to selection modify - expand by 2
then add a new raster layer.
then copy and paste the cloudy paper into the selection
go to selections none
slide the paper layer underneath the frame layer,
add a drop shadow to the frame
vertical 2 horizontal 2 opacity 30 blur 5 and black colour selected.

add a cloud from the kit , arrange to the top left of the frame , slide beneath the frame and paper
duplicate the cloud and arrange to the right side

add a tube of choice and add a drop shadow , i used
vertical 2 horizontal 2 opacity 35 blur 10 and black colour selected.

then duplicate it again and arrange above the frame to the right side
duplicate again and resize this one by 80% and arrange to the left on top of the frame.
open up the cloud with the droplets, copy and paste to the right side then type the word 'Angelic' using the angelica font size 36 i colour picked the tan colour from the frame for the background colour foreground null

to add the glittery effect to the text
go to Adjust - add /remove noise - add noise
using these settings

go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop as a new animation

back to PSP
click undo once
add noise again change the number to 20

go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

click undo once

then add noise again change the number to 20

go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop after current frame

save as a gif and your done.

Angelic - animated - light effect

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Suzanne Woolcott
Her tubes are available for PSP usage from HER STORE
you will need PSP, plugin - penta.com get it from HERE
*Download the one called Garbage Collections WinEMac*
brushes used were from Suzanne woolcott's website HERE
i used the ones called Gorjuss checks
font used was Angelica get it from HERE

before we start download all the supplies and add the brushes to your brushes folder so they show up when needed
open a new canvas 600 x 600
flood fill with white
copy and paste your chosen tube as a new layer onto your canvas
resize as necassary i resized this tube by 90% twice then went to
adjust - sharpness - sharpen...

as when you resize it can blur your image a little. now add a drop shadow I used:

vertical 1 horizontal 1 opacity 80 blur 5 and a very dark purple colour selected.

then Add the word 'Angelic' using the angelica font with these settings i used a dark purple for the foreground colour and lilac for the background colur.
now stretch it up and out a little so it fills the canvas a little better.

add a new raster layer, and slide it underneath your tube layer ..
now click on your airbrush tool(where the paintbrush tool is)
and select the brush called gorjuss check 3 with the settings as below in the screenshot

now select a colour to compliment your tube i chose lilac again, and click on your canvas a couple times till your happy with the look.
now go to Effects - plugins - penta.com - Jeans with the folowing settings.
click on your text layer with your magic wand tool click inside the letters while holding down the SHIFT key at the same time. to select all the letters at the same time.
now with the whole word selected
go to Effects - Illumination Effects- Sunburst with the following settings.

now go to Selections None - go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop as a new animation

back to PSP
click undo twice
(this should make your text selected again and get rid of the sunburst you did before)
go to Effects - Illumination Effects- Sunburst
with the same settings as before but this time change the horizontal to 50

then Selections None - go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop after current frame

back to PSP

click undo twice

go to Effects - Illumination Effects- Sunburst

with the same settings but this time change the horizontal to 75

then Selections None - go to Edit-copy merged

then paste into Animation shop after current frame

ok now while in animation shop go to Edit- Select all

then go to Animation - frame properties and change the display time from 10 to 25

add your name if desired..save as a gif and your done.

saint or sinner tutorial

this is an old tut that im moving from my tut site...

This scrap tag tutorial was written by me Diane Knight on 27th January 2010 any resemblance to any other tut is purely coincidental

things you will need:

PSP im using PSP9 but any version will do

A scrap kit, I used Naughty or Nice Freebie from Addictive Pleasures HERE

For this tut I am using the artwork of Jose A cano you will need to buy a licence to use this artists work at from PTE or use an alternative tube.

unzip supplies

...................................

open up the back journal named ele40 from the kit resize by 70%

copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas, you will notice that
it has a sligt line across the top, its simple to remove this, just
use your erasor tool on 100% opacity, left click till its gone...

once done,add a drop shadow , i used the following settings

now add the white wings, named ele38 go to image mirror then

go to- image rotate, free rotate left by 10% then add a drop shadow of choice.

now open the pink folded ribbon resize by 70% copy and paste ontp your
canvas, arrange to the bottom....see my tag for placement.. add a drop shadow
now open up the pink heart named ele39, resize by 70% and rotate left by 10%
add a drop shadow.

next open the pink double hearts with wings resize by 25% copy and
paste onto your canvas, arrange to the bottom....see my tag for
placement..
add a drop shadow

add the words SAINT OR SINNER in my header at the top , or you can
make your own....but if you want mine, its a png so you can simply
just copy and paste it from the header.
add a tube of choice, i used the one from jose a cano. if using the
same tube, i then duplicated the tube, chaged the blend mode to soft light ,

then slide the opacity on the layers pallette (see below) to 40%

now make the original tube layer active by simply clicking on it
add a drop shadow to the origianl tube layer
open up the devil tail from the kit resize by 70%
rotate right by 90%, then go to image - mirror...
copy and paste onto your canvas see my tag for
placement, but make sure you remember to slide the tail layer beneath
the pink heart layer..
font used to add my name, was carpenter, used on these settings

background colour white , foreground null

Then just save as a .PNG with a unique name and your are done!..

Purple Passion tutorial

For this tut I am using the fantastic artwork of Debora Aguelo
you will need her permission to use her artwork, or use an image of your choice
For this tut you will need PSP
free Scrap supplies and Mask made by me HERE
and some flowers of choice
...........................................................................

before we start unzip your supplies and add my mask to your mask folder
open up open a new canvas 500 x 500 Pixels

flooodfill with white
add a new raster layer and floodfill with a colour of your choice ..i used #a98fad
now go to Layers- Load/save mask - Load mask from disk..a pop up will apppear look for my mask called CandyassTornpaperMask
and use the settings below.

go to - Layers merge Group

now open an image you would like to use for your tag
I resized mine to 310 x 333 pixels now add a white border by going to
Image - add border
and change the pixel value to 3 and the colour to white.

copy and paste that image onto your canvas

now open up the supplies i gave you

in there there is a frame
copy and paste that as a new layer onto your canvas.

resize it by going to Image - Resize - and resize by 80% (smartsize)

to change it from landscape to portrait
go to Image- rotate - free rotate and use the following settings

now go to Image - Rotate and use the following settings

now add a drop shadow by going to Effects - 3d efects- drop shadow
with the following settings.

copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas the little name tag from the supplies
resize by 80% and rotate as before but change the value to 18 then place where you think it looks good.
copy and paste as a new layer the bow supplied and resize that by 40% place where you would like it.
copy and paste the heart element supplied then go layers - dupicate ..so you get 2 then go to Image - mirror
you should have one heart on each side of the canvas.
slide one under the frame layer and slide the other underneath the image layer.
so far you should have something that looks like this...

now add the silver swirl element supplied..place over the frame

to get the cut out effect on the swirl I now select your freehand selection tool

see screen shot below..

and trace round the corner of the frame then hit the delete key.

now add a flower of your choice i used white ones and coloured them adjusting the hue and saturation to match the tag.
*Adjust - Hue and saturation - Colourise*
I used the following settings

add the artists copyright and your name..font for my name I used was Voluta Script Pro font 110

open a new canvas 650 x 650 with a white background

Lets start - open paper 7 its the dark grey with white spots paper
go to Layers - load save mask - load mask from disk , select the mask called -WSL-mask 82

click load to apply it

go to - merge group

open snowflakes from the kit- copy and paste as a new layer

copy and paste winter-WA1 snow circle as a new layer -

resize by 80% using smartsize

open snowswirlframe1 copy and paste as a new layer

copy and paste winter tree as a new layer

add a shadow , i used the following settings

the tube I used comes with a bonus close up, use that...

add as a new layer add a shadow then slide this layer beneath the tree layer

copy and paste winterFlakesWbow as a new layer

add a shadow as before
then duplicate and move this duplicate tube layer to the top layer

next, choose your eraser tool, i used the following settings

we are going to blend the tube layer with the swirl

so on the top tube I simply brushed the tube a couple of times where her skirt and legs were to erase it
so that you can see the swirl layer coming through then go to the bottom tube layer and do it again,
untill you are happy with the effect...

do not worry if you make a mistake just click the undo button and try again....

then add the words my friends are flakes in Porkys font

colour's used - background fill blue html code #6e7c87 - foreground white stroke 2

add copyright info

you could just save now as a .png
or to animate....continue

make the top layer active then add a new raster layer
and go to Effects - Plugins -Vanderlee - Snowflakes

depending how much snow you want, you can change the settings,
I used the following

but if you want more snow change the amount slider
and if you want bigger flakes of snow change the maximum size slider
but as i said these were my settings..
click ok to apply the plugin

then go to copy merged and paste as new animation into animation shop

back to PSP
go to edit undo snowflakes

then apply it again but this time slide the random seed slider to 350
go to copy merged - and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP
apply the plugin one final time, this time slide the random seed to 450

again go to copy merged - and paste into animation shop after current frame

edit - select all - then go to frame properties and
change the display time to 20 to slow the animation down a little...

Torn Affection FTU- scraps tut

Torn Affection FTU scraps tut,
this is an old tut but thought as its a freebie scrap tut I would add it here on my tut blog

YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE KIT FREE ON MY SCRAPS BLOG HERE
For this tut I am using the one of my fav artists work Zindy S.D Nielson
you need a licence to use this art. You can purchase tubes from her shop HERE

start with a canvas of 550 x 550 pixels

There will be alot of resizing and rotating so i will show you a preview the 1st time only then i am hoping you should be able to find it again xx

copy and paste the 'notepaperCrumpled' paper from the kit and rotate it by going to Image - Roatate - free roatate left by 15%,see preview for settings

then resize it by 80% see below for settings

add a drop shadow of choice, you may want to add a drop shadow to all layers that you add , i did. see below for settings that i used.

open 'burst2' paper copy and paste it onto your canvas, it will be too big right now but that will change...go to Image- Mirror, then resize it by 40% and then rotate it right by 15%

now open 'Folded1' paper, this will need to be resized by 40%, copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

open 'note' and resize that by 35% and rotate it left by 15%, copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

add a glittered button colour of choice, I chose dark pink. see my tag for placement, resize by about 15 or 25%

open up 'tornheart2' resize it by 40% copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

this is what you should have so far.....

ok now to add the bracket frame,for this tag i chose 'bracket7' open it up I want this one smaller so resize it by 75%,copy and paste it onto your tag canvas then click inside the frame using the magic wand tool using these settings....

go to Selections - modify and expand by 4.

your bracket frame should be selected, open up 'affection5'paper and resize it by 80%

copy and paste this paper onto your bracket frame, it will fill the enire page but you will still see your selection,

now go to Selections - invert and make sure your top layer is selected and hit the delete key. go to selections - none.

slide this layer underneath the bracket frame, ( in your layer palette on the right just click on it and drag it underthe top layer)

you should have a bracket filled with your new paper....woot!

ok almost there....still with me? ...

open up 'stitchedline3' from the kit, on your tag canvas click inside the bracket frame with the magic wand tool using the same settings as before. AND DONT FORGET TO MODIFY- EXPAND by 4......

copy and paste the stitchedline onto your canvas, resize by 80%

move into place at the bottom of the frame,

go to - selections - invert and hit delete key to remove the excess. keep your area selected, and copy and paste your image of choice i chose a ZINDY S.D. Nielson one, cos i love her work...

arrange on the tag how you like it, and again hit the delete key to remove the excess.

ok go to Selections - none slide the bracket frame to the top layer....so that it sits neat within the frame.

lastly copy and paste the 'String'(the beads on a string) onto your canvas, resize by 80% arrange to the top of the frame. add your drop shadow.

copy and paste the 'distressed Ribbon2 onto your canvas, resize by 80% add your drop shadow. and copy and paste the dragonfly Slide, resize by 40% go to adjust - sharpness - sharpen , add a drop shadow.

open up template called - creative misfits creations taggers template 2 beth 09

delete the watermark layer

look in your layers pallette and find the layer called 1 go to layers - merge down

then continue to merge down 3 more times untill all 4 long panels at the back are merged

then go to Selections - select all -

open up torn affection paper2- paste as a new layer then make sure the paper layer is the

active layer and hit the delete key to remove the excess.

Selections none

find the layer called - lg white circle - select all - select float - selections invert

open up block pink paper and paste as a new layer - then

make sure the paper layer is the active layer and hit the delete key to remove the excess.

while this selection is still active - copy and paste as a new layer a tube and hit the delete

key to remove the excess. ( i used a close up of her face)

selections none

repeat this process for the sm white circle layer

( i used the background image layer from this particular tube)

remember to go to selections none when done

do the same for the Circle frames with papers from the kit

next open up the pink flower from the kit, resize by 20% repeat for the light and dark brown flowers. but resize those by 15% using smartsize

copy and paste each as a new layer and add a drop shadow

delete the brackets layer from the template

copy and paste bracket3 from the kit as a new layer, slide to the bottom layer

then with your selection tool - select anything below the bottom line

and hit the delete key to remove the excess add a drop shadow.

open up stitched line 2 from the kit, resize by 30% add a drop shadow and arrange to the right

duplicate and arrange near the left..

delete the words from the template - feeling naughty,

instead add Naughty word art.. link is above

open up paper1 and arrange to the bottom

next apply the vix mask018
by going to Load - saved mask using these settings

go to merge group

Font I used for my name was Neuropolitical
select your background and foreground fills

background fill colour html code #e3699c
forground fill white stroke 2
font size 48

convert your vector layer to a raster layer, add a drop shadow
and save your tag as a unique file name and as a .png

BJ - That Thing You Like - how to light effects

some free to use supplies by me HERE

and a couple of plugins :

mura's meister - copies and Halftone -

if you dont have them just google them and install them

..........................................

open up template no 4 and delete the watermark layer

find your top black frame
make this your active layer simply by clicking on it

in your layers pallette.

we are going to merge all the black boxes together,

so go to Layers - Merge- merge down

keep doing this untill all 6 black bloxes are on the one layer together.

then go to selections - select all- then selections - float

(this will select all the boxes at once)

now copy and paste a tube as a new layer, arrange it over the left 2 boxes

now go to selections invert then make certain your tube layer is your active layer

and hit the delete key on your keyboard to remove the excess tube...

go to selections none

for the right side i used a variant of the same tube,

but before copying and pasting over I mirrored it,

do this by simply going to Image - mirror

so now repeat this process for the right side,
remember to go to selections none to deselect the boxes

copy and paste another tube arrange this as the top layer

if it isnt on top go to layers - arrage - bring to top

for this particular tube I added a drop shadow

- then with my selection tool set to rectangle
I simply 'cropped out' the parts of her legs that went over the bottom box.

next on the wordart layer of the template, with your selection tool still set to rectangle,

crop out the word boyfriend, and cut and paste as a new layer,

then move it over to the right side

(otherwie you cant read it, her head is in the way :)

selections none.

next for this particular tube the colour of the lipstick kiss didnt match very well,

so i adjusting it by going to

Adjust - Hue & Saturation - Colourize

with the following settings,

click ok

bring this to the top layer

next find the top grey frame layer on the template and just as we did before, we are
going to merge down, untill all the grey frames are on the same layer

then go to Selections - select all - selections - float -

leave selected, now open the glitter tile I supplied, and make this your background fill

do this in the material pallette, so just click on the

background fill colour and in the pop up choose pattern tab

and in the drop down find the glitter fill,

select it and click ok

then choose your fill tool, it looks like a paintbucket and simply click inside

each grey frame area that you have selected on the template.

go to selections none

add a drop shadow

find your black boxes layer again make this the active layer and

go to select all - selections - float

open the texture I supplied, and copy and paste as a new layer,

then selections invert - hit the delete key to remove the excess

go to selections none

duplicate this layer

now is a good time to crop any excess from the edges of your tag

then on the bottom duplicate go to

effects - plugins - mura's meister - copies

with the following settings - Blur(Radial)

then duplicate that layer twice

then go to

effects - plugins - Halftone

with the following settings -

click on the preview if you need to see the settings clearer
change the colour with the colour picker, i just colour picked a colour from the tag itself...

arrange on the tag a little lower so that it peeks out from the bottom

then do the same for the second duplicate and arrange it higher to your liking...

add a drop shadow to the word art layers

now is a good time to add your name and copyright,

font used for my name was miss le Gatees

save your tag with a unique name and as a png

and you are done x

unless you want to animated of course.... :)

when working with animation you dont want to move anything that isnt supposed to move once you start to animate, also another point to make I generally save my tags as a .png this saves the tag with a transparent background, like the one above, as i am a member of a few forums that have different coloured backgrounds...however this is not the case when saving an animated tag...it tends to go pixelated if i save an animation with a transparent background so i usually save it on a coloured background.

so first add a new layer and floodfill with a colour of your choosing, one to compliment the tag....

go to layers - move to bottom

have your glitter frame layer as the active layer - click inside the first glitter frame - you have added a shadow so you will need to expand it

go to Selections - modify - expand by 8

add a new raster layer and floodfill the slection with white

go to selections none

then drop the opacity of the layer to 50% now slide this layer underneath the glitter frame, because you want it to look smooth and tidy.

ok now go to copy merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation

go back to PSP

then simply move the white box over to the midle top box,

then copy merged and paste after current frame in animation shop

back to PSP and move the white box to the top right frame

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame

back to PSP and move again to the bottom right frame, and so on and so on untill you have 6 frames

finally then in animation shop go to edit - select all
go to animation - frame properties and change the display time to 20 - click ok

this will slow the animation just a little

save as a gif and you are done.

open up cluster frame from the freebie kit

with your selection tool using these settings

draw out a rectangle selection roughly the size of the frame

then copy and paste the brown paper from my freebie as a new layer

go to Edit - Cut

now go to selections invert,
make certain your paper layer is selcted then hit the delete key to remove the excess

now go to selection none to remove the marching ants selection
slide this layer to the bottom
then add a drop shadow I used the following settings

next copy and paste the image of choice, i used one by Anna Marine
slide the image below the frame,
then go to Image Rotate left by 5
then add a drop shadow

copy and paste a glitter splat from the kit, I used the bronze colour one...
duplicate it - then go to image mirror,
then image flip

slide both the glitter layers to the bottom

add copyright and your name...
I used Noir-et-Blanc font for my name set to size 48

things you will need:

PSP and animation shop

and a fairly good knowledge of both

Template 129 by Missy HERE

A FREE scrap kit, Baby Valentine by my pal Twinky from her blog here
MASK no 13 from Vix HERE

artwork of Elias Chatzoudisyou will need to buy a licence to use this artists work at PTE

unzip supplies
place the mask in your masks folder
and open up template 129

Delete the missy watermark
now i want a larger canvas so that i have room to work,
so go to Image - canvas size and change the
canvas size to 550 x 550 make sure it is centered,
see settings below...

now re fill your background layer with white
open the Square Frame from the kit resize by 60% using smartsize then go to
Image - Rotate- free - rotate Left by 5
copy and paste this frame onto your canvas and place at the top left of the template, slide it underneath the template so that it peeks out from underneath....
Duplicate this frame and then go to Image - Mirror,
slide this one down and to the right..see below....

merge down, and slide the frames underneath the template...
make the Square from the template the active layer, and click inside it with your magic wand tool...
go to Selections - modify expand by 1
and copy and paste paper7 into selection, then duplicate it...
go to Selctions - Select all - selctions Float - Selections - modify expand by 1
and copy and paste paper 2 INTO selection
make the original square the active layer and rotate left by 5
add a dop shadow to both papers, I used
vertical 2 Horizontal 1 opacity 57 blur 4

merge the 2 circles on the template together by making the top circle the active layer and go to

this is what you should have so far...

merge down, and slide the frames underneath the template...

and copy and paste paper 2 INTO selection

open the double heart from the kit, resize by 35%

using smartsize and place at the bottom right ,above the rectangle but below the wordart.
now add the red 'LoveMetal' word charm from the kit, resize by 60%
select the magic wand tool, and clcik inside the ring/stud just below the bow...
go to Selections modify - expand by 5 and then in your layers palette find the paper layers that are below and hit the delete key... for both
layers..you will then see a hole appear inside the ring/stud..

make the charm layer active and add a drop shadow.
now we are going to add a mask, first copy and paste paper 2 as a new layer,
now apply the Vix_Mask_Valentine13, do this by

going to Layers - Load/save mask - load mask

from disk
and find the mask called Vix_Mask_Valentine13

apply it...

go to Layers Merge Group.

resize this layer by 90% and slide it underneath the rectangle layer...
you should now have something that looks like this...

hopefully you are with me so far..

copy and paste the be mine diamond word art from the kit... and resize by 50% add a drop shadow..i used vertical 2 Horizontal 1 opacity 57 blur 4
now add the tube of choice, I am using a tube by

Elias Chatzoudis, if using the same as me then resize it by 80%
add a drop shadow...
now the fun part...

copy merged tag into animation shop...
then...
go back to PSP
select your freehand selection tool looks it looks like a lasoo on your toolbar..
using the following settings carefully left click around her chest area..right click to join the selction..
look carefully at my area below, you want to the selected area like mine...

once you are happy with the chest area selection,
go to Effects - Distortion Effects - Punch
change the stregth to 10
go to selections none
copy merged into animation shop this time after current frame...
backto PSP
click undone this will bring back your selection
go to Effects - Distortion Effects - Punch
change the stregth to 15
go to selections none
copy merged into animation shop after current frame ...
you now have a 3 frame animation...
if you saved at this point she is gonna look like she is panting!
view the animation and see what i mean...lol..
ok if you viewed the animation close the playing animation down you do not need it
but keep the original open...

if you want her breathing to look more slow and realistic.. you will need to do the folowing...
go to EDIT - SELECT ALL
then go to ANIMATION - FRAME PROPERTIES.
and change the display time to 25.
with all 3 frames selected, go to Edit Copy, and paste as a new animation
so now you have 2 three frame animations
with the second animation selected
go to EDIT - SELECT ALL
then go to ANIMATION - REVERSE FRAMES
GO TO EDIT - COPY then click on the last frame of the original animation
and go to PASTE AFTER ANIMATION.

Then just save as a gif and your are done!..thanks for trying my tutorial

see below for an example of another tag I made using the same method...all you really need is a good close up tube of a pretty eye with nice lashes...

place the brushes into your brushes folder so that they are ready to use later

..................................................................................
open a NEW canvas 500 x 500
i like room to work.... Floodfill with white
open up Lace2 (the white one) from the kit, resize by 70% using smartsize
copy and paste as a new layer onto your canvas

add the following drop shadow, make sure you change the colour to a Colour from your tag. I used Green colour HTML no #38797a

Ccopy and paste FLOWER5 onto your canvas, center it in your canvas.
resize by 90%
add a drop shadow I used
Horizontal 2 vertical 2, opacity 80 blur 8
do the same for flower8 rotate it right by 5
copy and paste notepad1 from the kit, rezie by 50% then rotate right by 15%
slide this layer below the 2 flowers...so that it just pokes out from the bottom of them..
open up frame5 from the kit and resize by50% using smartsize, copy and paste onto your canvas, center it..

open up the chrome heart from the kit, resize the heart by 70% using smartsize
copy and paste it onto your canvas, then rotate right by 10%
position the heart so that it overlaps the frame like mine...
select the eraser tool using these settings

and erase the right hand corner of the chrome heart, and the top point..see below...

copy and paste the blackFeather2 from the kit add a drop shadow, then drag this layer below the 2 flowers but above the lace...arrange it so that it peeks ut from the right corner, then duplicate this feather,
go to Image - mirror, one should now have appeared on the left corner, go to merge down..and eraser the bottom of the feathers, so you only see the top.
now add your imaage, if using the one i used, resize it by 70% then copy and paste it onto your canvas, slide it underneath the frame layer....when happy with position, remove the excess, you can either use the eraser tool as before,
or make the frame layer the active layer click on the magic wand tool and click inside the frame.go to Selection modify - expand by 4 then go to Selections Invert, and then make the image layer the active layer. and hit the delete key.
either way will remove the excess....if you used the selections way now go to selections none. if you used the eraser way there is no need as you have nothing selected.

then add a drop shadow to the frame layer
same as before
add the artist © and your name....
font used for my name was SHARK RANDOM FUN - with these settings

foreground set to this colour #e3dcc2
background set to this colour #3b7c7e

add your name using the settings above,.......................................
now onto the actual animation part of making her eye wink....
obviously you could do this to both eyes to make her blink too...
BEFORE we start to animate...go to Edit - copy merged and paste your tag into animation shop..
so you now have 1 frame with her eyes open....
back to PSP
make your image /tube layer your active layer...by simply clicking on it.
select your paintbrush tool, now zoom in so you can see clearly and using the round brush head on the following settings,

carefully paint over the eye , (I used the colour black) so that it looks half closed.... see below....

copy merged and paste into animation shop after current frame...
back to PSP
now we are going to colour in the rest of the eye in so that it appears to be completely closed, use the same brush settings as before...
once you are happy find the brush SK furryFibre3 you downloaded and set your brush to the settings below..

now carefully add lashes to the bottom of the now closed eye...
this might take a few tries to get it right...if you go wrong just click undo and try again...

zoom back out to take a look once your done
if you are happy, copy merged once again after current frame into animation shop
still in animation shop we are going to adjust the timing ...
do this by going to Animation - Frame properties and change the display time to 200..

now view the animation you should have a nice wink like mine!
save it as a gif and you are done.

This is a pay to use artist so you should not use this artists work without purchasing the appropriate licence to do so - now from CDO HERE

For this tut you will need PSP, Animation shop and Eye candy 4000

Moonlight Freebie scrap kit made by me available from my blog HERE

ok onto the tutorial
unzip your suplies, ready for use...

OPEN A NEW CANVAS
600X300
you could make it smaller but i didnt, so we will go with the size i made it..lol
open up ct-moonlightpaper2 and copy and paste it onto your canvas as a new layer...
copy and paste the grey defying gravity ribbon as a new layer onto your canvas,
resize using smartsize by 60% and place towards the top of your canvas.

duplicate this ribbon and place so that both ribbons now cover the top of your canvas,
if unsure see my tag.
now go to Layers - Merge - Merge down
so that the 2 ribbons are merged onto the same layer
repeat for the green defying gravity ribbon. and place at the bottom of the canvas.

now copy and paste the ct-Wicked Wordart2
resize by 50% using smartsize. and add a drop shadow, by going to

Effects - 3d effects - drop shadow. and use the following settings.

now add the close up of the 2 Ted Hammond tubes that you get when you buy this tube from CILM.
and place onto your canvas, see my tag for palcement. add the same dropshadow as before...
now add your © information, and your name. for my name i used Ravenscroft font set at the following settings
Background colour black, foreground colour white
font size 72 Stroke 2 anti alias set to sharp.

now add a small grey border bu going to Image- add borders and use these settings, make sure you change the colour to grey...

ok this part you may find a little tricky if your new to PSP, but we need to tube out the cauldron from the full length tube ....
ok with your freehand tool get rid of the girl we dont need her,

your settings for the freehand tool should be as follows
dont worry it doesnt have to be perfect this time, so dont get too close to the cauldron.
do this by left clicking around the cauldron,with your freehand tool, you should get little marching ants when you join the start point and end point ....double click to end...SEE BELOW...

cut and paste as a new image, now add a new layer and floodfill with a contrasting colour so you can see clearly, i used red.
zoom in to about 300%,
make sure your cauldron layer is active, by clicking on it.
now we want to tube out any residual girl from the cauldron.....you will see in my preview, i have a bit of leg to remove,

select your freehand tool again with the same settings as before. and carefully go round the image outline that you want to remove
hit the delete key twice. this will remove the excess you want to get rid of.
if you look at my preview, you will see what i removed, you do the same.
for the purpose of this tut, do not worry about her foot at the bottom you will not see it in this tag.....
fiddly tubing is over,lol

ok now just copy and paste the cauldron onto your tag....see my tag for placement
now add a drop shadow same as before.......................
now its time to animate....

using your freehand selection tool again, select the green smoke coming from the cauldron, SEE BELOW..
while selected, now and go to
Effects - Plugins - EYE CANDY 4000 - HSB NOISE
and use the following settings....
now its time to animate....

CLICK OK

then go to Selections none...

and go to Layers - copy merged
copy and paste Merged layers into animation shop...as a new animation.
*go back into PSP*
click the UNDO button twice...
you should still have your selection, apply the filter/plugin again with the same settings but this time click random seed once.
click ok
then go to selections none...
Lyers - copy merged..then paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME
*go back into PSP*
click the UNDO button twice...
repeat the filter/plugin 1 last time, using the random seed button.

click ok
then go to selections none...
Lyers - copy merged..then paste into animation shop AFTER CURRENT FRAME
you should now have an animation of 3 frames.....
i want to slow the animation down a little
so go to Edit - select all,
then go to Animation - frame properties.
and change the display time to 20, click ok
to check your animation looks ok click the play animation button, its this one see below

if you cant find it, then just go to View - Animation...lol if it looks ok then you are ready to save as a gif and you are done...

Download supplies and unzip them all, add your masks to your masks folder..

Open tube of choice, if using the same one as I have, resize top main tube by 70% slide this layer beneath the black square layer add a drop shadow

I used the following settings

add tube againthe select the black square with the magic wand tool
then copy and paste tube and arrange it over the selection till happy,

now go to selection - invert and hit delete key to remove the excess.

open paper 3 then select the large light pink rectangle
go to selection - select all - float
then resize paper by 70% then copy and paste as a new layer,

go to selection invert - and make sure your paper layer is selceted
then hit the delete key to remove the excess

go to selections none

repeat this process for all the layers of the template, with papers of your own choosing.

resize bow from kit - by 30% add same shadow

next, open up glitter doodle2 resize by 70% add
shadow then slide beneath the layer named rounded rectangle2

add drop shadow

copy and paste flower4 from the kit, resize by 70% add shadow
then slide underneath the doodle layer you just placed.

add ribbons 1 and 2 from the kit resize by 70%
arrange to the bottom of the tag.
add a drop shadow

open up clip resize by 50%
add shadow

open up heart swirl from kit, resize by 50%
copy and paste as a new layer slide beneath the black frame layer,

duplicate then slide the duplicate to the top layer

add a drop shadow then select the erasor tool with the following settings

and erase the top point of the heart swirl so that it looks like mine...

open paper5 , resize by 70% then apply the following mask to the paper,

go to copy merged and paste as a new layer onto your canvas,
slide this layer to the bottom.

open one of the glitter fill's from the kit, and select this
as your pattern in your material pallette as your background fill

then with a font of choice type your name
I used the font Sevilla Decor set on size 72
add a drop shadow.

add your copyright and save your tag x

Supplies needed:
tube of choice, i used art by Pinuptoons which i bought from CILM
but is now available from CDO

I am currently with Twilight Scraps and Digital Choas

1st you need to UNZIP the supplies , add the mask to your mask folder

0PEN UP A NEW CANVAS 650 x 600 with a transparent background
you can always crop later,

open up cluster frame 6 from the kit and simply
copy and paste it as a new layer onto your canvas

open up paper 2 from the kit and copy and paste it

as a new layer onto your canvas slide this layer underneath the frame layer

*if you are not sure how to do this, then just go to layers - arrange - send to bottom*

go to Layers - Load/save mask - load mask from Disk and select the mask called

vixpsp mask 362 with the following settings.

click load then go to layers - merge group

click inside the frame holding down the shift key, click inside both frames

with the magic wand tool selected

then go to selections - modify - expand by 5

open paper2 then copy and paste as a new layer
then go to selections invert then hit the delete key to remove the excess

leave the frame selected then add a tube of choice

if using the same one as me, go to image mirror before adding to your canvas

and arrange inside the right frame to your liking then hot the delete key to remove the excess

then go to LAYERS - Properties - and change the blend mode to screen

then go to selections none

if you make a mistake, dont stress just hit undo and start again.

next add your copyright and name
for my name I used the font Miss Le Gates

set the font size to 72 background fill dark brown and foreground set to null
